Jeremy Corbyn

I’ve just realised what’s happened, it’s yes minister in real life. swap hacker for corbyn, Tory for labour & that’s it, job done.
Both put on the ballot as an afterthought with no chance of winning, ballot worked n their favour, now out of their depth in a job even they didn’t think they would win, hence the ■■■■ ups. Only difference I see so far is that Jim hacker had to get up & talk about his gaffes himself, whereas Jeremy gets someone else to explain it for him, probably because “he won’t compromise his beliefs” , he just gets someone else to compromise theirs.
And they say you couldn’t make this stuff up.

[Corbyn] Refused to sing the national anthem at a memorial service.

And so would I. The national anthem is about the state not one person.

Also a lack of respect for the people who gave up their lives in the battle of britain and ww2 in general.

There were plenty of people who ‘gave up their lives’ in WW2 who held exactly the same beliefs regarding Socialism and who would therefore have also shared Corbyn’s objections to the ‘national anthem’.

While ironically from a nationalist point of view the anthem Jerusalem is a more fitting reflection of the princible of England,Ireland,Scotland and Wales all having their own nation state status and the fact that we have all effectively been under a regime of Federalist occupation which stamped out that nation state status since 1066.

The so called ‘national anthem’ just being another part and celebration of that occupation such as in the words ‘rebellious Scots to crush’. :unamused: :bulb:

I don’t really understand this argument. How can not singing the national anthem show a lack of respect, even at a memorial for those who took part in the Battle of Britain. If I stick a fiver in the old boy’s box coming up to Remembrance but don’t take a poppy is that a lack of respect or not?

he is the leader of her majesty’s opposition,he bloody well should have sung the national anthem.it is a blatent lack of respect.
what if he refused to lay a wreath at the cenotaph,(despite dropping a fiver in the old boys box) ,do you think that would constitute a lack of respect?
I cant believe nobody on here has criticised his choice for shadow chancellor-john McDonnell, the man that praised the armed struggle of people like bobby sands, and called for them to be honoured!!! didn’t some of mr McDonnell’s fellow MP’s(and countless civilians and british soldiers) get murdered by the IRA in the “armed struggle”? I cant even be bothered to find out where his constituency is,but how can people vote for dross like McDonnell?

and he shagged Diane Abbot FFS.

doesn’t matter how much you put in,not wearing a poppy is a massive lack of respect I think.why would you not want to wear one?

I’m already starting to get a bit worried about Corbyn. He seems to be swaying quite a few people similar to the way BLiar swayed people back in the 90s. He said all the right things in all the right places and promised people the earth. Of course, we all know how that turned out but it’s always too late by then.

The last election was crap coz everyone knew what they were gonna end up with. With Corbyn people think that they’re gonna get something fresh and exciting. Like they did with BLiar. This is how you can win elections.

Ultimately he will be more of the same old Labour. Might change the odd thing here and there but still part of the old gang.

Unfortunately Blair just took advantage of the implosion of the Con Party when Thatcherism was finally shown up or the scam it was.So we got Con lite led by a champagne socialist which ran the show until Cameron arrived on the scene to take up where Major left off and is effectively the same thing as Blair.IE all appeasers of Thatcherite global free market economics and prepared to wreck the country in their continued failed attempts to make it work.

While Corbyn is just a full on socialist trading on the typical idealistic naive bs contained in that ideology. :unamused:

Never voted Labour as they have gone from their original concept of representing the working man and working class in general to being ran by the ex public schoolboy Middle Class plastic Tories.
If his policies will benefit me and people like me, although I don’t know anything about them yet,it will make a change from the snout in the trough, career politicians in it for themselves.
Although I will believe it when I see it.

I totally agree with this statement.

Surely that’s better than “beastility is ok” or “paedophillia is ok” or even “porking the rest of the population is ok.”
… If Diane Abbot represents a heat sink here, - I can live with that. :smiling_imp:

Am I the only one who thinks she looks like she could “dance like a butterfly and win hack-nee” btw? :unamused:

It’s a damning indictment of the state of Britain’s available pool of women that all Cameron could find at a party was a dead pig :open_mouth: while Corbyn at least found someone alive and human. :open_mouth: :smiling_imp:

While Bill Clinton managed to get off with Monica Lewinsky the lucky zb.

He’s no less unvotable than Sturgeon being that they both share the same socialist ideology. The difference is Corbyn hasn’t tried to fool anyone by pretending to be the impossible combination of a nationalist and a socialist. As for Labour what is the point of it just being another Conservative Party like Blair etc.

The opposition choice now is a simple one between Nationalism v Socialism with the Scottish having shown that they don’t even understand the difference. :unamused: While it’s my bet that at least the steel workers unions have now woken up and smelt the coffee in that regard. Not to mention all those who’ve seen Merkel and the EU for what they really are. :bulb:

So far the Scottish have managed to vote for a bleeding heart full on Socialist who’s pretending to be a Nationalist. While obviously then saying that Corbyn is un votable when he is actually no different to Sturgeon in terms of his ideology.

As for the definition of nationalist that would be Le Pen and the FN.Not Sturgeon and the SNP and her Socialist Federalist cronies like Merkel. :unamused:

Ironically Id rather trust Corbyn than zb Sturgeon. On that note we’ve got a committed ‘Socialist’ in the form of Corbyn arguing in parliament, with the so called ‘Capitalist’ Cons about them selling out our economy to the zb Chinese Communist Party. While the red flag, which he mistakenly gave his allegiance to,is flying in London. No surprise that the silence from Sturgeon seems to be deafening. It’s my guess that Corbyn, not to mention the steel workers’ unions, might be having that light bulb moment when he realises that he’s been had by a corrupt ideology that is anything but good for the working class.

Ask the boys in redcar what they think of YOUR goverment and the labour party,im sure corbyn was all over that,oh,hang on,im sure i seen him on the news babbling on about “wimmens rights”,as to silence from sturgeon, how the ■■■ do you know what shes been saying or doing■■? Our yards are still open, its not over till the fat lady sings, corbyn is as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike and if your too blind to see that then fine,go through life with yer blinkers on,im happy with the snp mate as are most folk up here, heres a thought, why dont you try and get your own house in order before you stick yer unwanted nose in ours…

I’m no supporter of the Labour Party as it stands. What I’m saying is that there’s possibly more chance of Corbyn being open minded enough to see the light regarding Socialism and everything it stands for than Sturgeon. On that note yes I’m sure the Redcar workers will be ecstatic about her ideas. If she’s a Nationalist then the Pope is a Muslim.Being that she’ll give away what fish and oil you’ve got left after her EU cronies have taken their share,in exchange for yet more dumped steel and other stuff that we don’t need because we can make it for ourselves. :unamused:
