Jacked had a...full

Hi all

Jacked job in today on the tankers , reason being the owner was a top of the range bell end , who thought he could talk to drivers and staff like something he had just stepped in . I know it don’t put bread on the table but I don’t take that kind of ■■■■ off anyone this guy was unreal I won’t name them because I don’t think it’s fair, but who do these people think they are ■■? . I’ve worked my balls off while I’ve been there never late early starts late finishes etc . Anyone else take all this crap from boss? . Rant over

Regards Ricky

Now there’s a shock… a militant Scouse! . Just joking Ricky, fair play to you mate. No job is worth your dignity. If you stay at a job that ■■■■■■ you off you’ll become bitter, twisted, maybe depressed and then end up taking it out on your nearest and dearest.

I appreciate that it’s a balancing act, and you of course need to provide for your family, but and the end of the day you need to do what’s best for you.

Good luck with the job hunt mate.

Cheers Lot more to it than I explained but hey it’s 2015 not the 17th century this bell was unbearable mate

Kind regards

good for you. If a few more who are in the position to walk, did so, then things would improve for everyone. Hope you find somewhere new quickly.

Does the company begin with O?

Had a tanker driver from Liverpool moaning like buggery about his boss this morning. Not the first time either.

No mate it doesn’t , where was you?

Good on you my friend.
Now if a few of our “collegues” had the balls this industry might be worth working in.

We all know what happens in a strike.
As with the miners their worst enemy where the transport industry.
And thats why half the countries drivers are working for minimum wage (or less) today.

And all you ever hear about is how "badly " paid NHS,Firemen,Council workers, teachers etc are paid.
Most of these “retire” at 55 with a nice pension.

What do you get after 65 and sleeping in a tin box for years Jack ■■■■.
BUT our “industry” could bring this country to its knees in hours not weeks.

Top marks Rickster. Im local to you and ive just got myself ‘temporarily sidelined on full pay’.

Im not a rude person by any stretch, but when someone takes the ■■■■,its time to explain a few things lol.

We need more truck drivers like you IMO.

Haven’t we all had a boss or two over the years with 'man management skills 'that left a bit to be desired ?
My last boss did, I stuck it for ten months .
Plenty of jobs out there , good luck finding one that suits

we all know what employers are like, all he will do is get some cheap labour ,European to drive for him

Good on ya, I love where I work but for a spell last year the manager thought he could Lord it over me and made a series of false allegations, I took it on the chin (did state my case) no joy, so two days later I resigned, I had two directors ask why, I told them and that I had a couple of job offers one from one of our clients, the day I was due to leave I was offered more money and asked to stay and promised I would be left alone, and I have, it bleedin great and glad I stayed.
It’s a great job working with great people but there is always one egotistical testicle

I’d rather do the toughest job out there and come back to some respect and appreciation, than do a easy job and come back to a bunch of office staff who speak to you like a Ahole… Well done mate  Good luck getting a new job somewhere better

I did the same in November, things are getting worse but my main problem is office knobs, why should I put up with it just because they can’t plan correctly, it’s a type of bullying I think and I’m not a violent person but they push it, so I told company to stick it in a pollite way as it wasn’t them but I’ve got to work with this person who plans my work.

All these jobs you’ve mentioned retiring at 55 with a nice pension are Govt jobs not private companies.

Not any more mate, that’s why they’re all striking. In fact, retiring at 55 went out in the mid 90s for teachers.

you should have greased the stairs for him. i know a fella was a right pain for donkeys years, turned lovely once his back went

Whilst I could not possibly condone such irresponsible behaviour it is kinda poetic isn’t it?

its a shame we have all gone soft, it was often the sight of a knob being dragged through a hatch that tended to sort out attitudes quite quickly.

I’m the same mate, known for saying “here’s ya keys, you can stick your job” more than I’d like to be if I’m honest, but I won’t take any ■■■■.

The last job I did that though wasn’t really the companies fault, I got some grief at Freightliner at the end of my shift on a Friday night and just flipped, phoned company and told them what was going on, they were going to sort it and ring me straight back, 15 mins later I dropped the trailer and went to leave unit only, they wouldn’t let me leave so 5 mins later the unit stayed at the exit gate and I walked.

I’ve no idea who these idiots think they are, but I blame all the ■■■■■■■ in the industry, I won’t take any ■■■■, if I do something wrong I’ll hold my hands up and take whatever punishment, but I’m not going to be treated like a mug by some ■■■■■■■■ for no amount of money.

You don’t know how well of you all are, try working for Richard Long and co (unless their attitude has changed dramatically over these last few years)
