If the o/p means another truck driver arrested, it just brings home how lethal a truck can be when things go wrong.

Won’t matter if they agency or permanent. Those that drive like idiots and injure other road users deserve the jail time coming their way.
I’m surprised that hasn’t happened more around pitsea. I’ve seen so many near misses with tractors along the stretch between basildon and saddlers farm over the years.

Happened on river road he colapsed at the wheel took out some street furniture and had a head on with a lorry coming the other way

Anybody can be an agency driver.
Any employed driver could register with an agency tomorrow and start stealing work from you perma-limpers immediately.
Personally, I’d have to really be out on my arse to even consider lowering myself to that… but it’s there if I need it nevertheless.

As a former agency driver, I do miss the glamour terribly. Only compensation is I get a guaranteed wage which is of little comfort really… 
As a token to my previous life I do keep the bluetooth earpiece in, although it has developed a technical fault whereby incoming calls are all true now…

I agree with you mate, but we’ve all done daft things and been lucky where it hasn’t gone ■■■■ up.
On the other hand it just takes a second of carelesness or getting ■■■■■■ with somebody, or just plain old bad luck and it could be me or you.
