It's been a while.....New pics added

Haven’t put any snaps up recently, so here’s a few, hope you like em

This one is in Chicago, anyone who knows me will tell you it’s a sunset, not a sunrise

Here’s the old girl looking all shiny in Lynchburg, Virginia,

This was my morning view in Utah, just south of Salt Lake City,

This was what I woke up to the next day in Montana, not so good

It was a little bit fresh out too :open_mouth:

I got back into Canada and turned around heading back to California, this is what Montana looked like the next morning, pretty awesome I think :sunglasses:

At the bottom end of Utah, it got all warm again, liking this a lot I gotta tell ya

I’ve a load more if anyone’s interested

Great photos mate, definitely interested to see more of that scenery.

I like your duck mascot on your hood, big 10-4 good buddy!
:grimacing:

Here’s Mr Duck in all his glory, sure I’ve put it up on here before, but he’s a bit of an attention seeker

More, more

Some really good photos, should show some more. You’re lucky running south, all we seem to be getting is snow and more snow at the moment, can’t remember the last sunny day.Reckon this will be a long winter.Lots of ski-doing me thinks.

Is that a rear lift on there? You would be much better off in a 6x4 you know… especially in the snow and ice…

Tin hat on, nuclear bunker sealed and locked

I well this sums it up really :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: love to see some more as I’m sure you already know!!!

yep more pictures please … good stuff… :sunglasses:

I’m sure that red unit without a trailer on just might be a 6x2 with a lift axle but you’ve got to look close to see it :open_mouth:  .It’s probably been stuck there for a week so they sent a 6x4 out from CA to collect the trailer.

But seriously great pics.Where else can you just drive down the road to get away from a freezing winter in one place and be sitting on the beach in 75-80 degrees in another.

Brillaint pics! :sunglasses:

Cool pics :sunglasses: keep em comin,i love American rigs

This is really good picture. Empty lorry park, colors of sunrise and they way they they hit your lorry and even the park lights are on. It shouldn’t be called only a “snap” It would still been better without the white trailer next to you. You should’ve waked up it’s driver and told him to move away :stuck_out_tongue:

Great pics, really clear, the scenary looks fantastic.

Suddenly im feeling rather jealous!! :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

excellent pics mate, keep em comin.

cheers
gaz

Nice photo’s there Mark. Glad to see you are still enjoying yourself out there, and taking time to enjoy the view. Just read your articles in T&D, spot on as normal. The last time I saw snow was in Toronto about 1995, but that shot in Montana makes me wish I still had my mk2 RS 2000 having fun before the gritters got going.

Regards Paul

beautiful scenery mate !!

Finally my uploader thingy is behaving :unamused: here’s a few more

This one is leaving LA on the way back to the cold

A little something to remind me of home

An hour later…

Some things are just worth all the trouble of sitting in traffic

■■■■ California and it’s 55mph limit

The start of a 19mile climb, Mr Caterpillar’s 550 gee gees get around most things by the time we get to the top :sunglasses:

Spectacular scenery on this whole trip, those mountains are awesome to see, beats looking at sheep in fields and factories, that’s for sure.

Down a whole gear and let the Jake Brake keep it in shape, I have straight through pipes and when it’s going down a big hill they sound like a machine gun, very childish, but I love em

Utah speed limits far more civilised than California’s, Did I? [zb]ing right I did :sunglasses:

Good job it’s 80mph, not a lot going on in Utah :open_mouth:

Not much to see through the rest of Utah so here we skip up into Idaho, it was snowing heavily, so I called it a day when it got dark, this was the next morning :open_mouth:

It was a good call, this would’ve been a PITA in the dark

Idaho needs to pop next door to Utah and dredge the salt lake, this is a joke, climbing to over 6000ft is not fun on sheet ice, no pictures coming down the hills, I was hanging on too tight

Montana have got their act together with the road clearing, thank [zb] :sunglasses:

They’ve had a decent snowfall here, not winter for another 3 weeks either, looks like it’ll be hard work for the next few months

Although it does make for some beautiful views through my windscreen :sunglasses:

Nice pics mate  hope you have some more, nice to see something different

also nice to see Removalboy in the first pic :stuck_out_tongue: Bit out of his area though

Great stuff Mark , keep them coming :sunglasses:

 Looks like you don’t mind ditching the fuel saving bs when the opportunity presents itself  .Now just for argument’s sake imagine a big, screaming two stroke under the bonnet instead of the dozer engine.
