As the title says … but do you enjoy your own company ?

Yip quiet happy doing what I do on my own , don’t get me wrong the odd bit of company is ok as well

Tramping is a lonely job, your. Right.
But it is what you make it.
I enjoy my job, I have interwebbything,phone and IPad.
That keeps me busy, and sane.

I enjoy my own company. Listen to what I want to, have it as warm as I like, and a ■■■ when I like. Easy enough to get a crack going at the yard or have a chat with mates on the phone.

Anyroad, I enjoy the company of a grumpy old git :wink:

can be lonely
but there is always the oppertunity to do a bit of DIY
on the bunk at night with the curtains shut

Same here.
Theres a difference to being alone or lonely. You can be lonely in a crowd.
I’ve always said, this job would be perfect if i didnt have to deliver anything and could just drive around all the time.
Coffee, ■■■■, music and just me myself and I. :slight_smile:

Quite happy on my own although nice to speak to some people some of the time which I can do if I so wish

I cant wait to get back to being in my own company without the wife moaning… :smiley: couple of days off work and i cant wait to get back haha… any tramping jobs…

Nah i like being on my own aswell radio on talk to someone whenever i want. Its great

I find i do like my own company , but i cheat at scrabble and get annoyed with myself and my split personality. :smiley:

I’ve driven stuff on my own for 31 yrs now ranging from gantry cranes, coal stackers, bulldozers, golf course machinery, hgv’s, front end loaders and even bobcats so I’m used to it now and wouldn’t change it, so long as I have some music/radio to listen to I’m sorted.

I had a lovely 3 days at home for christmas but after a bit of a argument with my Mum I did text one of the planners on call saying ‘get me back to work now please’ which they duly did the next day! 2/3 days visiting friends and family is about my limit these days, love them to death but struggle with any longer!
