Seeing as I seem to have added fuel to the fire i may have got it wrong if i have I apologise. But I got nicked three years ago this coming june on the A5 near Atherstone heading south. he stretch of road I was on carried a 50 limit for all vehicles it changes to a single carriage way and I got an SP10 as i didn’t slow down quick enough. I was flashed by a permant camera not a mobile.
The only fixed camera on the A5 southbound is the one near the redgate. And after the short stretch of dual just south of mancetter roundabout there is no dual until after the camera.

Notice on board at work that if any one caught by westbound camera doing over 40 but under 50 to phone saftey camera people and they will cancel charges.
Pity about the drivers who think it is a 40 and paid!
Speed limit 50mph for LGV’s as it is a Single lane dual-carriageway.
