It may not have anything to do with lorries lolipop but I’ve given my answers to why I’m glad Jeremy Corbyn is leader of the Labour Party I’d like to know other people’s opinions too

The clue is in the name of the Party.Labour.The Socialists would like to think they have a monopoly on the working class struggle.But we’ve got Socialist Labour and Socialist Workers Party and its obvious that’s where he belongs and let the ‘Labour Party’ get on with being ‘Labour’.Which doesn’t/shouldn’t mean selling out to the Conservatives ‘or’ the Socialists.

The original post referred to the treatment of Islamic terrorists by British politicians. I would like to know what ordinary Muslims think about this upsurge in Islam-branded terrorist activity. Who better to ask than a forum of Europeans who spent a decade or so working in the Middle East? What attitude would your old workmates from places like Afghanistan and Pakistan have- would they approve of a brutal anti-West campaign, or would they be disgusted that atrocities like that in Paris were committed in the name of Islam?

Thank god some of you didn’t stray from the transport industry because you’d be the liabilities if you’d been employed in intelligence or military strategy. I think we might be seeing the breaking up of the Labour party as the left wing of the party take over.
Centre and centre left Labour MPs are finding they have two basic choices.
Tow the line behind Corbyn or be de-selected as Labour candidate at the next election.
Many who will not fall in behind Corbyn then have the choice to cross the floor and join either UKIP or the Conservatives, form a break off party like SDP did years ago, or remain and if they are de-selected try to stand in their seat as independent.
Political experts have pointed out today that even if they managed to field someone and somehow (Almost impossible) trigger a leadership election. Corbyn would be re-elected, as he represents the feeling of the party. So Labour MPs who don’t agree with him are ‘Out of touch’
No-one can predict what will happen, but many feel Corbyn is deliberately trying to create an atmosphere where the likes that Simon Danczuk simply cannot remain.
Replacing with the likes of Ken Livingstone and George Galloway would be very appealing to Corbyn supporters.

Sells of the Royal Mail at a lower price than its worth and again Osbournes best mate makes 23 million quid profit from under valued shares not bad for a weeks work
The conservatives sold off all the energy companies and this gets better we are held to ransom by a cartel of the big 6 private energy companies who’ve fixed energy prices so it makes no difference in the long run who you swap suppliers with
Then call me Dave had the audacity to use the taxpayers money to bribe the Chinese and French to come to Britain to build a nuclear power station

I work for a top 100 Ftse company and when we want to expand or improve we don’t to the government cap in hand to ask for funds from the taxpayer our board of directors go to share holders and investors for capital
So why should my hard earned tax be used to pay for private companies to build power stations ■■?When they’re making masses of profits
Let’s start with the railways it’s in private ownership so why should OUR money be used to prop up private train operators again they make obscene profits go and ask the shareholders we don’t go cap in hand when they get their dividends so why should they ■■?
The NHS where shall we start on this one it’s not the Governments it’s OURS so why are most of the supply contracts going to companies with friends and links to call me Dave are we going to have a reduction in our NI contributions when call me Dave insists its value for money for Britain I don’t think so because there’ll be a few lining their pockets whilst the majority will suffer with poor care

Stirred up a Hornets nest here I think ! Good ! So how about this one, regarding all the cut backs the local councils are having to make, at the moment circa 40% of our council tax goes straight to pay the “gold plated inflation proof pensions” of council employees !! So assuming (quite properly) when all the cuts have taken place and services have been severely curtailed guess what---- probably 50% of our council tax will go straight to the pensions of the Council Wallahs !! And while I’m tottering on the soap box what ■■■■■■■ use are Community Support Officers (aka "Chocolate Fire guards) why are the Police being reduced and these useless ■■■■■ are surviving the “chop”,I doubt wether there is much difference between the starting salary of a young Bobby and that of a “Chocolate Fireguard”, no contest as far as I can see, a Bobby is a Warranted servant of the Crown with powers of arrest etc. whereas a “Chocolate Fireguard” can’t even dive into a pond to save a drowning child let alone arrest anyone !! British Rail was a standing joke that was blowing money all the time because like most state owned companies nobody gave a toss as long as they got their wage at the end of the week , workers who knew their “rights” very well , i knew a guy who worked at the Royal Mail and he could tell me how many days he was entitled to paid sick and took them every year which amounted to around 30 days , then he had his holidays on top .Most state owned companies were an easy ride . The NHS isnt working because of the Tories .... are we sure about that , how long were Labour in power and did the NHS run smoothly then , i dont think so , the reason the NHS isnt working is quite simple too many people are using it who havent paid in . I dont think it will make any difference who comes into power because the 2 main parties are so similar in style , they promise to deal with issues but never do ,not the issues that need dealing with . Anyone who wants to come here should firstly have a skill that we need and should be made to pay into the system for 10 years before they can use our "free" services or claim ANY benefits .Any immigrant caught commiting an offence that amounts to a prison sentence should be deported immediately , otherwise they become a burden on tax payers .We give money to third world counties every year ,where and why , charity starts at home ,lets put our own house in order before we start throwing our money around , and who actually gets the money most third world countries are corrupt . We need to get out of the EU asap and get back to running Britain in a way that suits us . Will any party promise this i dont think so because at the end of the day they all ■■■■ in the same pot no matter which party the represent , dont forget the only thing they agree unaminously on every year ... their pay rise and its always a large 1. Blair and his wife lined their pockets when he was in charge with the human rights law , which Cherie did very well out of helping to sue the state . Do i think Jeremy Corbyn is a ■■■■ yes i do probably a bigger one than most MPs but hes not on his own .

I find it hard to believe that well meaning people remain as naive as he seems to be.
Man is the greediest animal on the planet. Sadly, that includes all communists and socialists, many of whom often start with the best of intentions.
George Orwell saw the evil of capitalism and was a socialist, but realised that power corrupts and ultimate power corrupts absolutely. 1984 and animal farm make fascinating reading.
Within our industry, I would call BRS a failed social experiment. As with animal farm, there would always be people pulling their tripe out to cover for those who did little but complained loudly. Sadly, in that sort of environment somehow, the w****** seem to rise to the top!
I can’t believe in ‘free at the point of delivery’ enterprises, such as the NHS and ‘food banks’. They will always be abused.
One of my Dad’s exhortations to me was ‘Son, the world does not owe you a living.’ Sadly now, there seems to be a large section of the population who think it does!
I think capitalism is the least worst system. It does allow you to work hard and enjoy the fruits of your labour. Socialism and Commmunism allow those with conscience to work hard and support those who don’t.

Well I’m glad it makes you laugh when public money is being used to line the pockets of private companies well I’ll tell you summat it don’t make me laugh it don’t make me laugh when people can’t afford to put the heating on because of controlled fixed prices of energy bills it don’t make laugh when certain parts of the NHS are being sold off because profit becomes more important than health care
It don’t make me laugh when the east coast main line was running more efficiently in public ownership but now Georgie boy is selling it off as with Eurotunnel wait until that’s completely private and profits become more important than security

The Royal Mail is the crofter on the isle of Arran going to get his birthday card when it’s deemed unprofitable because there’s no money in delivering to the far flung parts of the U.K. will he be laughing I doubt it
My mate works at the Lutterworth sorting office and he’s told me it’s gone to pot down there now the decent management have been got rid of and the whizz kids have come in
He tells me give it another year and it’ll close not through bad efficiency but through cost cutting they all won’t be laughing
My parents live on the Lincolnshire coast the first thing that happened with the Royal Mail being privatised was their local sorting office being closed down they’re both elderly and the nearest one is 25 miles away so if they need to collect a parcel it’s an all day job for them they’re not laughing even all the protests about it closing down fell on deaf ears but good ol Georges best mate done very well thank you very much I bet he’s laughing all the way to the bank

Well now then “lollipop” how’s this for a missed scenario which I believed would have also met with your PC " HGV’s only" on the site! They should have sent Corbyn and Livingstone to Paris a few days prior to the atrocity, but in a Big J 8LXB ,but hold on, neither of the ■■■■■■■ have an HGV licence, but have no fear “CF” would have volunteered to drive so Ken would have had to sit on the bonnet .
