i don’t think people would have the views that they have if it wasn’t for religion.
most conflicts start about religion, but then the colour of someones skin gets brought into it, then it all kicks off and they forget it was religion that started it.
then they forget who started it, and we end up with a world full of people that want revenge, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. if it carries on all we will end up with is a world full of toothless, blind people.
the only way forward, is for every race, and religion to be seperated. then we start again.
How multi cultural are we realy. Look at our big city’s ethnic groups tend to congregate together in different areas most people are in relationships with people of the same ethnic group I don’t thinks it’s racism it’s just human instinct.

I agree, we all tend to meet and interact with our own kind.
I have several friends living in Spain, turkey and india and they all live in areas that are almost exclusively ex pats, not just brits, germans and swiss seem to be well represented.
The only time they interact with the locals is when they go shopping etc.
So I suppose it’s the same for foreigners over here.
but surely that should be lessening with getting on for the 3rd/4th generation of some ethnic groups.
Yeah things probally will change in time to come because immigration has spiralled in the last 15 years or so.

First Asians I recall were living in Bradford late 40’s early 50’s, so we’re 60 years down the line.
No idea about the rest of the country though.
On thursday last week I delivered a truck to a certain London county council yard, needing to go to the toilet I had to wait because all the traps where full. When one became empty, vacated by an ASIAN i went in as he came out, There where foot marks on the seat and ■■■■ all down the back of the toilet. When I pulled him and asked him to clean it up he replied that he did not do cleaning toilets,you wont print what I called him because it sure was racist.

I think you’re still confusing the idea of multi culturalism with integration.The former is just as you’ve described there.The latter is what the government is trying to do and is the exact opposite and the same policy as that followed by Tito in the former Yugoslavia.

Del just because there are multi generations of ethnic groups doesn’t mean to say that the following generations won’t be just as,or even more,loyal to their original ethnic roots as/than the earlier ones were.It’s just a matter of time and numbers and I wouldn’t like to bet on the outcome of the likely results if/when the different ethnic groups become a much larger proportion of the population compared to the indigenous population.
The fact is the ethnic groups go for whoever is most likely to follow the policies,agenda and interests of those groups’ and their home countries.If you don’t believe that just see what would happen if we ever got into a large scale ‘dispute’ with Pakistan and/or Iran etc for example even with the current numbers let alone if they were a much bigger proportion of the country’s population.You can probably bet who’s side Galloway would be on so no surprise where his mandate comes from.

Theres a Filipino with Swiss citizenship in the Zollhof at the Basel/Weil am Rhein border and he’s a bigger ■■■■ than Heinrich Himmler. I have never come across a more obnoxious jobsworth in my entire life.
One thing that has always struck me as odd is that growing up, having a German father and an English mother, I was always made to feel and told that I wasn’t English and that I was a German/kraut/■■■■ etc etc etc…often this was said by mixed raced people who were half black for example. How the heck does that work then? Given that a good proportion of indiginous English people are genetically Germanic and our cultural origins always hark back to the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings, all Germanic peoples…how is my 100% Germanic bloodline/heritage somehow not English and someone who is half African with only a 50% Germanic bloodline is English?
