does anyone remember the hassle everyone went through because of the iraqi super gun?
all of a sudden the police thought that every scaffolding lorry was supplying saddam, they thought that plastic pipes would be used to fire heavy ordnance.
they made a right meal of looking for something that they had no idea about.
wonder why lots of munitions companies such as vickers had their licences cancelled to export arms to iraq and iran if what you are saying is correct
customs did and probably still do detain people for what they consider movements across borders need further investigation uk based companies were licenced to export arms to iraq but licences were withdrawn
whats your point
