Gurner:
This isnt a discussion about why and when and how i got into debt, i got into debt because of greed and not being able to control my spending pure and simple, but that is nothing to do with you or this topic,
Then why bring it up? I stand by what I said, you made it sound as if it was something to be proud of.
Gurner:
I have the deepest sympathy for ken bigley and the likes, what happened to them is disgusting
Dazza obviously has some kind of problem with me …
The bankruptcy was brought up, because if you have bothered to read the thread, you will see that niel is going to iraq to earn money as he is in debt.
I was just pointing out that there are other options bankruptcy being one of them which i have personel experience about, infact after one of the TN member read it, they PM’d me asking about details as one of there friends was thinking of going through with it.
I have sympathy for ken bigleys family and him, but that doesnt mean he deserves it nor should expect it, he went there knowing what he was getting into, the aid worker deserves sympathy as she was there to help people not line her pockets. And i dont agree with the way and why they are doing it before you kick off on that one.

PS. I hope you [zb]
Well that really says it all doesn’t it?
So what are you trying to say, please tell? say what? im not sure i understand what you are implying seeing as you dont know me?
Right, to clear this up once and for all, Ladytrucker, I was just pointing out that if someone says on one hand “Don’t expect any sympathy” and then goes on to say “I have the deepest sympathy for ken bigley and the likes” then there is something of an irregularity going on. I never suggested you need any sympathy, you’ve obviously made your mind up.
Gurner, I don’t have a problem with you, what I am implying is that a message - which presumably written by an adult - which ends with “You smell funny” followed by an insult that the moderators felt the need to censor says more about you than it does about me.
If you weren’t bragging about how you’d avoided debt by declaring bankruptcy, then why all the smileys?
There will be no more replies from me on this subject apart from ones relating to Iraq.

Gurner:
If you are 65k in debt and have no assets ie house, then id suggest looking at going bankrupt rather than going to a warzone and possibly leaving your children to grow up with no father.
Your choice, just my opinions.
Gurner:
Which is why i said if you have no assets, for example you are renting your house, then bankruptcy is a good option.
At the grand old age of 28 i declared myself bankrupt 3 months ago as i have never been good with money and had 35k worth of credit card debts.
What have i lost? nothing, i dont own my house, the car is my wifes, and come august next year i will be discharged from bankruptcy and thats the end of it along with 35k of debt.
In my personal opinion, putting yourself on the line like this for debt is ridiculous, there are various ways out of debt and no court in the land would make you pay more than you can afford, even if it was a pound a week.
Im sorry but these are the only two posts i made relating to my bankruptcy, maybe you have a special monitor because i dont see any smilies, nor does either post sound as if i was boasting about it?
Fair comment Lucy, I may have been a little bit childish.
Dazza
P.S. For the record Gurner, my Diamontron monitor seems to be working ok and I can clearly make out the 2 smileys at the end of your post which is second from the top of this page. :D:D
No more to say on this subject, Lucy get the padlock!!

Big Truck:
Mal,
Believe it or believe it not, the RPG will not do any harm to a tanker,as long as you are not in its direct flight path it will just go straight through the tanker and leave two holes as the steel is not thick enough to arm the warhead. They have used them over here you know!!!
As for the roadside bomb,I don’t think the oil tankers are a high priority target its the military hardware their after,as its hard for them to know weither the tanker is being driven by an “Infidel” or an Iraqi if you dress right
At £1000/day your earning the same as some premiership footballers!!! but I’ll give you its with ALOT more risk
Petrol gives just Fire. The danger is a empty Tank, but u can fill them full whit Water and The Gas were away.
Pat Hasler:
Either an agency was making a fast buck or they think the British are cheap labour
That job is advertised over here for $1,000 a day
I wouldn’t do it for $1,000 a minute
Wrong Pat! and Truckyboy too!, it is NOT $1000 a day, it really is $1600 a week (about $83-84,000 a year) of which only the first $70,000 is tax free for the Yanks, you would be indirectly working for the US military, but according to the info I received at the recritment drive here in Atlanta you woyld be working directly for KBR, ( ■■■■ Cheneys old company!)
there is now a Company on Sun,Tue and thu looking for People to sell Car’s and Bikes to American Soldiers in Iraq.Could someone tell my,what they will do whit a Car in Iraq?
