Got to agree with Billy everyone is in such a rush nowadays. And also a very unfair one sided post and i think very offensive putting a picture of someone on here who maybe cannot reply, and very rude of all the posters who have had a pop at him because of his size. Bob looks a very nice man and quite a happy chap,
I agree.
so…its now wrong for a lorry driver to use the on site facilities, after filling up :unamused:    absolutley unbelievable. there
s no wonder the games ■■■■■■...it

hiya… another misuse of a mobile phone, you’ve tried to put the man down…maybe years ago you’d have had a
bigger problem on your hands without that in your hands. unless you can run really really fast.
then again fuel stations was for fueling up not doing a weeks shopping.I can assure you that despite Bobs substantial bulk, he wouldn’t have caused me any problems at all, other than making sure I wasn’t in the way when he hit the floor!
Being more than satisfactory in a couple of martial arts means that I rarely worry about things turning physical…but I will do everything I can to avoid that unpleasantness in the first place.
Hence my laughing at Bob and refusing to be baited into squaring up to him. Violence never solves anything. Now this doe,s make you sound like a real knob, thought you might be with your previous comments, thanks for confirming it ■■■
Forgive me for being honest!
Next time I will simply agree that I would get my head kicked in and not bother about the real world.
I forgot its not acceptable on here to admit that you would avoid violence.
What have I learnt in this thread?
I posted this because I thought that most people would find it laughable that a driver could get so angry over being delayed for 5 minutes that they wish death upon another driver and try to provoke a violent confrontation.
Well, it seems that most of the drivers here are exactly the same…what a sad state of affairs.
I am pleased that I have learnt to worry about the things worth worrying about, and not to get stressed over such trivial things.
Anybody that gets that wound up over such a meaningless matter seriously needs to have a long hard look at themselves and their life.
Trust me, there are far more important things to stress over.
this site gets more and more trivial and boring by the day!
Spot on war I can’t believe the issues and problems some alleged drivers have in here. I just go to work put the radio on and drive, unload and finish I dont really seem to have many dramas.

If you want a pish do it up against the wheel to save time…there will be no threads about that

Bob doesn’t look like he’s too quick on his feet; a steady walk should suffice.
No doubt someone will start a a thread moaning they was held up by someone having a 15 on the pumps and everyone will be calling the driver a ■■■■■■.
I think `Bob’ was giving you the goodbye salute pal ,
have a nice day an all that
Next time, get the fok off the pumps and stop doing your shopping when theres others waiting .
If this story is actually true that is …
I have met Bob' , and a jolly nice fellow he is ... and I am sure he would have every right in being allowed to challenge your poor behaviour and to express his views (politely) if someone was being a nob-jockey. Well done

Well DonutUK, you hit the thread jackpot with this one (it’s a good job you didn’t post Bob’s Registration Plate).
I absolutely agree that life is too short to worry about five minutes on the pump, and I don’t particularly like self appointed, self righteous guardians of our Industry who enjoy telling anyone who’ll listen
‘It wasn’t like this in my day’
The thing is though (and I’m surprised nobody else has mentioned it) occupying a pump space on a busy forecourt just to buy a brew, does show a lack of consideration for your fellow drivers who are patiently waiting to fuel up.
For sure, if the place is empty or other pumps are free go ahead but you must be able to see, it’s not the length of time that has annoyed Bob (and others on TNUK ) it’s the fact that you we’re prepared to hold them up rather than park out of the way to buy your brew.
One of the nicer things about our Industry is that occasionally drivers do show each other a little courtesy. There is no harm in trying to maintain the tradition, is there?

but he had fuelled up himself.
i can’t understand for 1 minute how anyone can take offense for someone buying a coffee when they go in to pay for the juice they’ve just put in
Not sure if its already been said but most people pull off the pumps when they go in and pay and 9 times out of 10 their still filling up even if you’ve make a coffee and grabbed a sandwich.
wow. I can’t believe Bob has gone viral! but if I have just put in 300 litres of their finest overpriced product then I feel perfectly entitled to buy a cup of their finest overpriced coffee too. get over it chaps.
ps no one has ever challenged me, tooted their horn or given me a gesture. i don’t take the ■■■■ though. and to be honest probably take longer waiting to pay than making a brew.
i understand though. one of our drivers regularly takes a fifteen on the pumps. ironically if anyone is on the pumps he drives past as he doesn’t want to get held up by other drivers
