Introducing 'Bob'

This is ‘Bob’…

Bob is a very important person…Bob is far too busy to wait 5 minutes to get onto a pump…

Bob told me this when I returned to my cab after grabbing a take out coffee after fuelling…

Bob didn’t like my response in which I suggested he needed to calm down…it’s only a coffee…and he was literally waiting 5 mins before he got on a pump.

Bob then proceeded to deliver various amounts verbal abuse…telling me I wasn’t a ‘proper’ driver, wishing that I had a crash and died after leaving the pumps and, ironically, that I didn’t give a toss about other drivers.

Bob got even more upset when I pointed out the hypocrisy in his argument…and wanted to know what I was going to do about it.
Bob was even more upset when I told him that I am going to laugh at him because that is really all he deserves!

I left Bob still dishing out obscenities…I blew him a nice kiss and bade him good day.

Yes, Bob is a total knob jockey!

Well i must admit that those people who dawdle about buying sweets and getting a coffee while others wait do iritate me. That 5 or 10 mins could mean home or not. Well done Bob

Then you also need to take a deep breath and relax…

If your day is so tight that 5 minutes delay causes you stress…maybe you need to plan your day better?

I agree tossers reading the headlines on papers picking a sandwich…then a coffee , all while your sat there like a twot, they only think about them selves , carry on Bob.if you want to do your shopping in a garage get the fok off the pumps …simple realy.

Nope, actually took, 12 minutes to fuel and get the coffee…then spent 5 minutes engaging with Bob.

Bob waited no more than 5 minutes before getting on a pump…

Again, if you are that tight on a delivery slot, don’t stop for fuel. Proper prior planning prevents ■■■■ poor performance…

I agree. Worst thing they ever did putting coffee shops in the fuel stations. Just encourages people to waste time and at the end of the day it’s not just 5 minutes is it? If they have 50 wagons a day in to fuel up and each driver spent 5 minutes waiting for a coffee then across the day that is 2hrs 10mins that the pumps have been out of use for. Times that by 3 pump(most services have more) and you’ve got 6.5 hours that the pumps have been out of action.

So next time you’re wanting a coffee either order it when you authorise your card or get a ■■■■■■■ flask!!

If anybody gets stressed over a 5 minute delay, you’re in the wrong job.

No wonder the industry is fekked, going by the comments on here, I thought it was just good manners to vacate the pump to allow the next guy on asap. Mind i suppose if there on an hourly rate they dawdle then moan when the boss says we need to make cutbacks. Self Self Self. That ten mins could mean missing a jam or sitting in it. Oh and i dont need to plan my day, I just got on and did the job, now my drivers do that as well.

go into the shop and tell em to rip out the coffee machine then and all the crisps and chocolate stalls because no one’s allowed to use em without getting a bollocking,and we all know nobody’s gonna arse about looking for a parking space off the pumps because it would be more hassle than it’s worth.
