Info wanted on this Truck

Anyone know what fleet this has come from, what work it will have been doing, whether it has been main dealer serviced, whether that fleet generally look after their trucks?

DX57EMJ is the reg.

looks like ‘pets at home’ colour?

Looks like ex Pets At Home. Could be wrong though.

Pipped to the post.

I agree with the above.

Could be ex City-Link…

Thanks, I think you gents are right now you mention it. It says in the ad it has low km’s so that would fit in with Pets at Home.

I might have a look at it, just to make sure it’s not a dog.

City link don’t use 6x2 tractors but no doubt ill be proved wrong.

If it is an ex PAH truck, won’t it have been CM Downton who operated it?

Probably is a Pets at home truck. ■■■■■■ link seem to run their trucks into the ground. I had a look at the others on fleetex and couldn’t see any sticker shadows on any of them.

It’s not bad at sub-£20k for a euro 5 motor although I guess it will be poverty-spec. It doesn’t seem to be fitted with a fridge for example, which is a pretty standard fitment these days I would have said.

Am I right in thinking Fleetex don’t offer any driveline warranty?

Yeah, they run them on a thats your motor this trip policy,so will have had lots of diferent drivers. reckon its got fair bit of milesge. dragging double deckers, hard life I would have thought

Stralis is the only truck i can think of that gives you a fridge as standard.

Harry.

Are you sure that’s not the one that says 726k’s on it at £22k:

ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-PREMI … 256ca7d728

Ken.

Edit. Nearly consecutive reg numbers.

Looks like it, well sleuthed, thank you.

Fleetex are advertising an almost identical truck in this week’s CM as “low mileage” for £22k which would seem a better bet. I would say “low mileage” on a 57 plate truck should mean sub- 400,000 km?

I must say that I would be surprised if a 57-plate Pets at Home truck had covered 720,000km though, even double-shifted.

Both for sale at Fleetex, and both obviously from the same fleet.

Ken.
