Info wanted on bulk tippers

Never ever do anything that you are told to do without listening to yourself first.
There are too many in this game (and many others) that have only driven a desk, they are the bane of my life and use a rule book to hide behind when it all goes ■■■■ up.

Easy to say I know, but really, take your time and ‘feel’ the whole thing in every way, gain the experience and understand it…But you also have to take the crap from people who have no idea and that could be your boss!
Play it cool, bite your tongue and build the experience…Then one day you will go in the office and they will be beaming with smiles over what you have done, you will not know what this is, as you have just been doing your job…That is when you know that you are a professional :sunglasses:

Do you guys in the uk have weight pressure gauges on the trailers for loading over there or is it a guess till at the scale house?

I have a weighloader alarmgoes off at 43500 which shovel driver passers dead people within 3 miles can hear

Don’t be afraid to take your time and check and double check everything.

My mate went over in front of me last year, down to a sticky load, luckily he was OK, but it sh*t me up a bit, the trailer went over in slow motion, and the unit went over like a shot!

I now unlock both doors, put my left arm rest down, wear my seatbelt and a hard hat when tipping, just in case.

I rate the PM systems, but I wish they were separate to the reversing camera screens. I haven’t got a weigher that works, my Barry Crapper sorry Napper one has packed up again.

I have pm we have a separate reader though

Why are tippers like the one in the pic not close coupled? Is it to do with axle weights on bulk work ? Just wondered because the fridge units I pull are all close coupled.

Christ, you must live in a bungalow; Hell of a risk walking down stairs every morning.
