Incentives

Does your company offer any kind of reward scheme?

Have any of your ideas helped your employer to operate more efficiently?

What you like to see change at your firm:

We get to go home early.

hahahahaha
" do as your told your lucky to have a job"

When I worked for Clipper, they offered a personal benefits group where you pay so much a month out of your wage to get money off stuff at the shops.

I tried to give them a few ideas but like anything any worker says it falls on deaf ears and they like to think everyone else is wrong other than them. But that’s the same with most companies.

What i’d love most is to stop hiring apprentices having them believe they will be taken on when the only employment at the end is agency work.

Cheers

Yes, if you do your work your left alone and they’ll even pay you for the hours you work.

I havnt made any suggestions or given ideas… I wouldnt dare.

Few runs aboard would be pretty good.

For me i took the job on because it was more than job seekers and I’d rather be on a lower income earning money than get job seekers doing sod all. I got offered a qualification in warehousing and a health and safety qualification but I doubt I’ll be getting those now considering I walked out 2 weeks ago after they shafted all 3 of us apprentices. But that’s all in the works at the moment, but right now I’m just looking for work elsewhere  Hopefully I’ll find something soon enough :sunglasses:

anyone remember a government run scheme in the 80s "job creation" the government actually paid companies to employ young people to give them work experience with a view that some would be kept on with a proper job.i worked in a small engineering shop at the time and we had about half a dozen young kids running around like blue r.sed flies doing jobs they shouldnt have been anywhere near, flogging their pans trying to make a good impression and get taken on…six months later they went down the road and another batch came in. the word exploitation sprang to mind.

So … back on topic …

Bump it… we BUMP you :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

ok i will BUMP !!!

My manager is banging on about fuel economy, I suggested perhaps a bonus if you hit X mpg or more average over a month.

The next month he came to me and said I was to be cut down to 84kph for a 2 week trial. That was 3 weeks ago, I’m still stuck behind supermarket wagons :unamused:

TBH I am kinda used to it now, I’m paid by the hour

Plus my MPG has improved.

Customers give us free pies and pasties.

I once worked for Richard Long, you did not need incentives there, as the job was like my first ever ■■■■■■ experience.

both times I was rogered up the 'arris.

Our company offers a few incentive bonus schemes ,
To be honest the basic wage isnt fantastic but with the bonus schemes its quiet good .

Fuel bonus payed out every 3month’s ranges from £100,150,200

Weekly bonus for stock lifting (handbuild’s into shops)
Only 1p a box but your averaging a 1000 boxes a day so £50 a week is about normal .

Yearly “attendance” bonus £350 pays out 2 weeks before Xmas
You loose £15 per day for every day of non authorised

Generally quiet a good company to work for only main gripe is when you go on holiday you loose your weekly bonus . So when you take your 2 weeks at summer you loose £100!!!

no.

we are expected to give 100%. :unamused: Yearly bonus is an insulting* (and TAXED!!!) £400 odd.

1 slip up, and they are down on you like a ton of bricks!

The bonus is grateful, but the bonus structure is insulting.

Of course it’s taxed!! You’re not expecting a big company to break the law and hand you a brown envelope over stuffed with readies?
