Lots of us have satnav/timers/tv/cookers /xboxes etc ,so we seem to be fairly techie (apart from use eyes/paper map/mouth etc brigade) ,
what extras have you added.
Just put in a printer (about half the size of a laptop) and am impressed by the quality. saves having to find a fax number from a n other firm and waiting hours for it to arrive.
what have you done that’s “not normal” in your truck…and please keep it clean .no sheep/high heels short skirt fellas etc
I’ve got a big dash table, didnt like them in the past but then one day decided i did, think i got fed up with balancing stuff on the dash. Also have a double burner cooker that sits on the passenger seat, is a massive improvement over the suitcase type i was using before, (credit goes to switch for that one).

not keen on stuff on passenger seat but if small cab then needs must. i like my 24 volt leccy oven but have the gas burner for backup, also use big red leccy kettle ,thats good but have a gas burner kettle for back up.
also got the blow up
nan forget that ,she had a major blow out last night.
I’ve got a fold up bike that packs away into a hold all, it doesn’t come out much this time of year!
Does anyone remember the film “Over the top” starring Sly Stallone as a truck driving arm wrestler? He had a multi gym in his cab!

I drive an R series topline, the seat folds down into a table, it couldnt really go under the bunk etc as its connected to a 4kg calor gas bottle. The truck is my home, no one else drives it, i could live in it full time if i wanted, theres quite a few poeple at my work that do, so i have to set up in a way that makes my 5nights a week comfy.
What are those 24v ovens like, what do you cook in it?
All this electrical stuff and drivers are complaining when they get electrical faults those electric kettles drag some serios power wouldnt trust them , cook basic food on gas hob and make flask up when boil the kettle then leave gas stove outside overnight in summer or in winter leave it outside for a hour , and if doing your checks rights wont forget it simples , one good advantage on the scania the fold down on the front .
As for gadgets does phone charger count , 12v dvd player battery lasts long enough to watch a film then leave it on charge at some point during the day and ready for next evening and a 12v dash mounted camara
I’ve got a TOASTER !
I used to have a flushing toilet under the passenger seat.
But I hardly have nights out these days, so it’s in me shed.
Toasted hot cross buns for breaky yum yum
Itouch
IPad
Dyson hoover
Microwave
240v electric kettle
Laptop
2 external hard drives
2 Edifiers for the surround sound when watching movies
2 inverters
Breville sandwich toaster
Saaamon:
How do you power your toaster? ive tried different ways on the cooker but cant seem to get it right.
I have a 2200 watt inverter with two three pin sockets.
One powers the toaster, and the other powers a microwave, all though not at the same time.
The toaster works better with the engine running, but it’s not essential.
