Although someone has opened some kind of truckstop on the opposite side of the road, (it’s signposted)
The sign suggests there are toilets and, wait for it, SHOWERS, as well as food, and it says its secure.
Bad timing I suppose, just as the free park reopened.
Have they cleaned it up ? Never seen so many ■■■■ bottles and piles of rubbish on the back fence

Yes it’s been cleaned up, but being as their isn’t a toilet,it’s soon going to fill up again.

because its either that or having a big yellow stain around my Calvins,my bedding and matress how is it an health hazzard■■? msut fall under ADR Regs carrying a bottle of truckers tizer in the passanger footwell!

It does look a bit tidier and those huge semi permanent puddles have gone. I thought you had to pay because there was loads of space tonight. I bet you can’t park up in there at eight thirty tomorrow night…

“use some of your £20 night out money to pay for parking”? i think i would need more than some of my money,you can be looking at £20+ just to park in a service area and most truckstops now charge over £12. oh and my night out allowance isn’t to put towards paying for parking it’s for the inconvenience of me having a night out and to boost my wage up. What would the point be in tramping if all you’re doing with your night out allowance is using it to pay for parking? you may as well just do day work!
Sorry I thought that’s what the payments were for so you weren’t as inconvenienced by not having showers and toilets so you could park safely and get all the facilities of home at proper service areas
