Try J and B haulage from Swindon; They get out on the Welsh borders for Tarmac (see Welsh border ops thread on old time forum). Google Barry Jefferies not sure where they’re from but they do a lot for us from Gloucestershire stone pits upto Oxford and occasionally help out our artic on the Stratford premix run from Coventry-same said of R Adams. Oh, and T Barry from South Cerney-they do a lot for Aggregate Industries…

J & B did have a yard in Hereford, not sure if they still have. Don’t know if it’s true but I was told a couple of months ago, that T C Barry South Cerney had had enough, and were finishing on the 17th. December, a couple of the drivers were taking there trucks on. I have no idea if this is true or not, sad if it is Terry’s been in the game a long time.

I thought Bob (son of Terry) had taken over and they had a mix of new and old Actros delivered this year.

I had forgotten that I had written this post… all those years ago! Well for what its worth, I have been running “pink” now for 18months and loving it.

I have been a HGV Driver since september, and nows want to move from Agency work to Full time employment. My ideal job would be tramping for a bulk haulage company. However any sort of tramping work would do. Any one have any ideas?

Where’d you live bud?

BJ Waters.

There’s been quite a few T Barrys in Erith over the past couple of weeks. NS Clarkes from Lichfield has a few drivers who live miles away, takes on drivers without tipper experience. Not a bad job if you fancy going abroad.

I saw some of their trucks around Kempsford-Ashton keynes Minety area during the week, unless they’ve not been repainted…
