I set the limiter to 52mph....and guess what?

ROG:
NEVER use cruise control - IMO, Lazymans tool and CAN be unsafe in certain senarios.

Only unsafe / dangerous when used incorrectly. Pretty much like the rest of any vehicle.

So do you switch yours off every time another vehicle is anywhere near you?

schrodingers cat:
you have to THINK to find the brake pedal

Is it just me??

LASHHGV:
Set it for 51 it really makes the tesco drivers day when they can overtake someone

I’ve never seen a Tesco driver go over 40, maybe they suffer from squeeky trolly wheel syndrome

Tiger.

No, I just make sure that I’m not in the bunk or have my feet up on the dash at the time.

Generally when on the limiter, I like to press my foot harder to the floor and lean forwards in my seat in a desperate attempt to make the thing go quicker.

Nobody has answered the cross country question yet !
You are more involved with the driving , lots more to think about …Junctions traffic lights , roundabouts etc etc …
Keeps you alert …
I hate motorways , but I do have to use them …

Nobody has answered the cross country question yet !

I would come off the motorway and cross country it , but then I would run out of time getting back .
Why do you think I would go cross country rog ?

Stay on original route and start commentating or take a break if you think your concentration is slipping - is that the answer you wanted
