Van man got annoyed that i held him up for 30 seconds. He was miles behind when i pulled out. He caught up as i got about level with the Scania. As he passed me he was giving it the middle finger and the passenger was shaking the coffee beans. I think it was my cheery wave that did it. Fast forward to about 1.15
personally, i would show this video to the police, as it can be classed as a road rage incident, and you clearly have the vehicle reg number showing, and also the fact the he brake tested you

please send this to the police,they will take action against that driver,i have a camera and they do act on what is bad driving,it may be they just speak to them about what could have happened or they might prosecute for bad driving,either way it teaches them a lesson that there being watched,teach the smart arse a lesson,the one i got on camera was on his phone giving me the finger haha they did take him to court i had to give them the recording.
When a Van is full of builders on a friday afternoon they’re normally on the ■■■■, they were probably feeling brave and egging him on .

Many moons ago my dad had some clown in a 205 GTI keep brake checking him until he tried a bit too hard and ended up being nudged up the road. Seeing red the GTI driver ( who didn’t have a good grasp of stopping distances) sped up then pulled onto the hardshoulder and decided to fling his door open just as dad came past and just at the right time to get the door between the rear of the unit in front of the side under run bar on the trailer. Copper turned up and told the bloke to prat about with something smaller next time as it had been picked on cctv .

yeah was thinking this myself think it is a good idea to report it and provide a copy of this video this amounts to careless driving imo.
To the OP! You were doing 80kph weren’t you? Has your camera got the speed track recording alongside the footage? If so then I would be straight down the local nick with that footage!
They might have trouble identifying the driver.
Still though what an idiot. Who brake tests an artic? You must be tempted to simply drive into the back of them surely? They wouldn’t do it again that’s for sure!

Took it down the cop shop this afternoon. Plod said he’d get the owners details and ‘have a word’, but wouldn’t push it any further.

Held him up for 30 seconds? It took you at least 1 minute 30 seconds and a mile and a half to do that overtake. 1 minute 30 seconds to gain 80ft on the vehicle in front. In an hour you’d end up no more than 2/3 of a mile further than if you’d not overtaken the truck.
Yet to gain that 2/3 of a mile over an hour, if that road had been any busier such as the A14, you’d have caused a fair whack of congestion behind you and a lot of narked motorists.
And truckers wonder why car drivers think they’re knobs.

In 2 minutes 40 seconds, he’d be 0.7 miles ahead, the same distance it would’ve taken DaiDap A WHOLE HOUR to get in front of the tipper he’d just overtaken.
Who is the bigger ■■■■, the one who got narked or the selfish arse who thought it was worthwhile holding the world up so he could end up 2/3 of a mile further up the road an hour later?
Your complaining about the van driver whinging about being held up by a few minutes, when you actually gained probably nothing whatsoever by overtaking - the other truck was probably right behind you at the next roundabout. At the end of the day unless your a trolley driver none of us should even be on the limiter on a dc so we dont have a leg to stand on. Just knock the cc down a few clicks.

But it wasn’t the A14, it was the fairly quiet A449. And the distance I gained meant i made the lights at the Coldra and he didn’t. So I’m a mile down the M4 before he’s even on the slip road.

some may think your a Knob, a trucker has the right to overtake, a vehicle … why slate the trucker for doing nothing wrong the van was donig an illegal act.
