I don’t think they need the inspection

I don’t think they need to wait for inspection to tell the bridge is ■■■■■■!

Driver directed to cross bridge by event crew apparently.

proper job.
id imagine the h&s beancounters wiil be orgasming in their pants working out just how much of a drama they can make of the recovery.
i wonder who the blame will stick to?

No one to blame but the donkey behind the wheel.
Is this the calibre of drivers today? Was there a
carrot dangling in front of him? Total idiot.

But…

I mean…

How on earth?

WTF?!

:open_mouth:

Maybe the driver wasn’t present truck drove on its own

On the plus side you can at least walk the gangway on top of the tank if you need to get to the other side

That really is beyond belief…sheesh

Leave this poor guy alone.
I blame the sat nav that sent him there.

Nah it was the street map

Surely before proceeding he/she must have double checked with someone.

Looks like the place is an adventure park and has activities such as “outdoor splash park Splash ‘n’ Play”. Would definately make a big splash!

Couldnt work out what had given way until i saw its a wooden bridge. Even the most brainless idiot surely has to question how their 26T truck is going to hold up over that when its banned from many road bridges.

Unless he was old school then he’d blame the map for not showing the bridge with a weight limit so he followed the maps instructions.

If he was old school he wouldn’t need a map, or a sat nav, he’d know the way :sunglasses: .

Well with all these Boroughs installing cycle lanes and pedestrians crossings - whilst taking over our roads it’s about time we took back control of our country. We can disrupt train lines and now pedestrian foot bridges! There’s no stopping us now.

That’s just … honestly can’t think of anything that could be used as an excuse…

I like the second last photo where it says OUCH RECOVERY on the crane.

mrginge:

Must have been quite hairy for the driver to actually get out of the cab!

I dread to think what the final total of that one will be. In a lot of these I feel a bit sorry for the driver - I can’t for this one.
