id imagine the h&s beancounters wiil be orgasming in their pants working out just how much of a drama they can make of the recovery.
i wonder who the blame will stick to?

job well done.
normally ive a cavalier attitude to h& s guff, and all the rest of the rules in general and would be hands on for just getting the job done whatever it takes, but in this case,it looks like the bridge is made out of rotting pallets.
epic momentary loss of sanity for the driver.

What did the “event crew*” say to the driver?
“We’ve had bigger than that here”?
“That’s the way we always do it”?
Maybe not just the driver to blame?
The lawyers will make as much from this as the recovery company.

*They certainly caused an event here!

The bridge looks like it’s been knocked together using old pallets! Always wondered what they do with the crap ones

That’s just … honestly can’t think of anything that could be used as an excuse…

I was joking before about the sat nav’s fault (really thought someone would bite :unamused:  ) but it would not surprise me in the least if that was what he actually said to his guvnor on the phone. :unamused:
I’ve heard that excuse (Sat nav '‘sent’ me that way) used by a few knobs in our yard in the past, ok, but for maybe less serious examples.

Agency…!

Well, nobodies mentioned it yet (that I can see).

I’m surprised he got as far as he did - looking at that nasty old timber I would have thought the steer would have been enough.
