glad your all ok, I was going in the opposite direction and saw him run into you, sounded like a bomb had gone off, did put a post on here asking if anyone knew if you and the other driver was ok.
Fowlers ain’t having much luck lately, there was one of there’s jack knifed near junction 4 of the m6 a few weeks ago, there insurance bill must be astronomical, you pay peanuts…
That’s not to say that all FWC drivers are muppets of course.
The question has to be, are fifth wheels up to the job these days? With trailers alone exceeding 36 tonnes, that fifth wheel looks ill!

He was fully loaded eggs and grapes amongst other things.he had only just left sittingbourne.

Some of the crash pictures ive seen sometimes i think the 5th wheel and trailer pin are made of frigin kryptonite. It may look ‘‘ill’’ but it held the trailer.

I’d say its more the cab being ripped off its mountings and pushed back into the trailer.

That fifth wheel is way in front of the axle , its moved at least a metre.
And I love the cameramans frilly tassles in his cab !!!
