How you feel after 13/15 hours working shift

how you feel after after 13/15 hours .what you like do after.or just sleep■■?

Sleep, sleep, sleep. Or try to. A week of long shifts turns me into a miserable zombie, and I never seem to get enough sleep!!!

How do you feel after 13/15 hours working shift.

Not too bad really.

Probably quite similar to someone who has spent 13/15 hours trolling through various sites.

it depends on what sort of work.
sitting about at an rdc, i feel dead, well before 13 hours.
but if i’m loading some machinery and being hands on, then i can work a 15 hour shift, and still feel like doing another shift.
it’s just like when i’m doing european work, no rdc, no tiredness.

Just do the one shift that long a week on sunday night. Recovery day monday!

I didn’t get on with the monday-friday palletline job requiring that 5 nights on the spin, and thus I’m in no hurry to do it again. :frowning:

As Phil says, sitting around kills me mentally. Driving and working no problem. 13 hours always feels like a half day after 3x15 days! Don’t sleep an awful lot so am usually bored after 11 hours off.

Sometimes park up and them do a45 minute run, then shower, have tea, a beer, go online for a bit, and then go to sleep for about 6 hours.

Bergen on, strap Gympy up and tab ten miles! :grimacing: shower, change and bed for five hours gonk! :open_mouth: up for breakfast 8th Hr log on 9 hrs 07 mins! Crack on to Macon! :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

Is that the Baby of Macon, or the Maybe of Bacon?

normal working day either 15 or 13 don’t matter, only need about 6 hrs sleep a night so i don’t notice anything different. i am on holiday now and feel more tired doing bugger all

I can’t remember the last time I worked a 13 hour day. Sounds to long to me surely it’s illegal lol. Maximum 11 hours in my contract some days are 5 hours so it makes 43 hours per week.

EAT  Read, sleep. In that order. Rock and Roll, I know

Part timer

When I park up I read, ponce about on the net, watch a DVD, or a combination of the three for a few hours and then hit the sack. I stop during my working day to eat and take a break as the schedule I usually run involves late starts/late finishes, I quite often run well into the night, but I always get 8hrs in my bed and very rarely use an alarm to wake up

If I,m days 13+ hours with 5 maybe 6 hours sleep and two 45’s no problem what so ever, but do that through the night, I,m in bed most of the day and wake up several times, don’t enjoy nights with regard to lack of rest but its a lot easier on the roads and at drops, quieter with a lot less pressure I reckon.

How comes in the bad old days we were only allowed to do 11 hrs work over a 12 1/2 hrs spreadover, but now with all the health and safety concerns we allowed to go 15 hrs??

If you had a donkey, giving rides on Blackpool beach, and made it work 15 hrs you`d be locked up for cruelty.

I don’t care how I feel, it’s all about keeping the missus happy, especially on payday.
