How would You stop knife crime?

Dunno if this may help, but I vote we keep to a simple solution that all but the most hardened of brain dead, morally warped cave dwelling dreggs of society will persue regardless…

We Ban cutlery.

Now I’ve based this idea with regards to the following observations,

There was a man who once said, ‘Guns don’t kill people, rappers do’…

There was also another who said ‘Guns for show, knifes for a pro’…

Now if we can’t agree on a cutlery ban, then I vote for guns, big ■■■■ off shiny one’s, and a full ban on all utensils instead.

It’s obvious we can’t be trusted to use knives properly, my guessing is we were not taught to do so at the table when evolving so we must assume that in that case we’re all derived from the same standard of upbringing and thus can’t be trusted with anything.

Those of us who may on the other hand prove different should be issued with the above ■■■■ off big shiny things so we can go about our day culling the planet of the puss that’s bred the dreggs committing these acts, or any who are facilitating the need for the actions to be thought of in the first place, or any who wish to continue doing so thereafter.

Or we could drain the swap, open the book, change our morals and instill some discipline back into our homes, schools and ourselves with regard to our fellow men, and our breeding of the future ones.

This is a CULTURAL problem born out of GREED, and we have many avenues to blame for it but only ourselves to thank for it as we as a society HAVE ALLOWED IT TO BECOME SO.

Now, let’s stop fannying around with all the obvious causes and he said she said, and get to actually fixing it.

One small flaw in your argument he didn’t use his lorry to kill them, and can’t be arsed to look up the statistics for hookers killed by ball hammers in the 70’s as opposed to those that were run over by HGV’s

I put it like this, these fellas gave us a ‘sing from the same sheet’ masterpiece, yet hmmm it seems we are not as somewhere along the line the word ‘religion’ got involved and folks said oh no no no I won’t be choosing a side or path…

Yet the book did not say you had too, as there was no path to choose as RELIGION did not exist, religion is man made… (see an issue there too, which the book mentions…)…the book is written in FAITH.

Now bearing in mind I’ve mentioned it states that it’s not a good idea for MANKIND to dabble with the fundamentals of the book, its seems very strange that since he has we’re all living in the plagues it foretold… Its simply the costumes are different.

I digress, it along with many other texts foretold the downfall we see now but we chose to ignore it, which it also foretold we would do, and as a planet it seems fairly obvious, well to those of us who ain’t been indoctrinated before the sheep start bleeting either that we as a planet have lost our hym sheet and now we’re really seeing the fruits of our labour, sadly too many folk use this GOD bloke as the excuse to ignore the obvious… (again spot the deliberately foretold on that point in the book too…)…
And now as they say ‘we’re reaping what thy have sown’…

This could go on all day but again makind has not got the ability to endure the stamina needed… (that book, and its cousins foretold on that one too…) to actually use the brain for its intended, so…

I’ve never felt the urge to stab anyone so feel such a course would be a waste of my time [emoji848]. Chatting with an old mate the other day we were reminiscing about our teenage years in the 80’s, back then we would wander across the fields with machetes, bowie knives, air rifles etc. At no point did it occur to us to go and start stabbing people, more like having a bit of fun making camps etc. Not all of the old days were better but I’m glad that when I was a kid it was all a bit more innocent.

believe i went straight to the STAB THE BUGGER scenario because im forever hearing about knives. not a day goes by without knives mentioned somewhere . i dont actually own a knife in a ■■■■■■ so its not like iv been preparing , IF i had gone down the stab route for real it would have been a cheap steak knife . Nontheless its worrying that it was my thought . That reminds me , back when i was a boy scout i Did borrow a bowie knife with intention to scare a fellow scout who had been bullying me but on the night he didnt turn up.And i did once shoot someone from a distance with an airrifle but thats hardly the mark of an assassin . So i guess i do have a weakness to let loose there,but its not like iv a collection of weapons ,i known blokes who do keep them thats not me

I was the first on this thread to pick you up on this.
You’ve tried to play it down but then go on to say ‘‘If I had’’ then go on to elaborate what type of knife you would use. , then confirm you have a history (however slight) with knives.
I would maybe also go down the route of wanting to hurt somebody who had done whatever to my wife, but I would say 100% I would not feel the need to carry any weapon.
Nearest I come to that is to have a baseball bat hanging up in my cab, working on the theory you (well me) can’t fight numbers, if some scrote low lifes have a go at me through the night.

Not trying to be some kind of poor man’s psychologist here mate, but if it was me I would be discussing this state of mind with someone who knows, just in case a scenario turns into a reality in the future…no offence intended btw, just an observation.
