What’s the crack with handing stuff like this into the local bobbies?
I know he’s driving like a [zb].
But it’s like big brother is watching 24/7 everywhere.
I won’t even eat an apple whilst driving on the motorway these days (I know, i know, terrible…), without hiding it every time theres a car alongside me. Only a matter of time otherwise until somebodies informed my firms Twitter account or email inbox with an incriminating photo
If you drive a livered wagon these days you have to assume your being filmed.
Is this sarcasm? I really hope so!
When did Britain become a place that the population lived in fear of eating an apple going down the road or going a few MPH over the limit? I’ve read many posts from drivers that are doing a brick sized number two after going a few minutes over their hours etc.
Do you get castrated now as part of the driving test?
No it’s not sarcasm, it’s fact. We live in an age where anything you do can be posted on a social media platform instantly. Dash cams, head cams, phone cameras, all used to upload film to various sites, pictures & video posted on Twitter feeds, passed on to anyone with an interest or a grudge, and yes, passed on to the police at the touch of a button without your knowledge. The police regularly hunt down drivers that have posted an ill advised comment or film leading, in some cases, to drivers getting sacked, companies losing business, people appearing in court etc.
So yes, it’s definitely something to think about when out & about these days.

What are you smoking? Can you get me half an oz?
You must have had the other half if you’ve never heard of the drivers posting vids of themselves speeding & getting arrested, the drivers bragging on Twitter & Facebook that they’d knocked cyclists off their bikes & drove off, got arrested & ended up in court. Just because it’s not happened to you, yet, doesn’t mean it it hasn’t happened to others.

Billy, check out my selective quoting in between bong hits will you.
Posting hard video evidence of your misdemeanors is one thing. Posting an off the wall comment is another.
Now, what about that half oz? I’m willing to travel.

Well that confirms the world has gone mad. Travelling to scoop up half an oz ffs.
You want to be careful driving to pick it up, you don’t want to be getting on someone’s dash cam evidence…

Emma Way might disagree with you there - she got a £600 fine and 7 points on her licence as a result of just such a comment. Mind you, I think someone took her number at the scene as well.

No no, this sort of thing just does not happen, not in smoking monkey land anyway. Despite the case you mention, & this thread, along with many more examples on Google, if you care to put your pipe down.
ajt:
the car driver should be fined and points for not doing a decent speed.
It seemed more or less about right for a 30 mph limit approaching numerous hazards including the junction.
The real questions being the sudden acceleration after the truck had over taken and the road layout which seems to cater for overtaking on the approach to the roundabout. When it seems obvious that the road should be marked with solid lines in both directions on both sides of the roundabout.
