I applied for the job to drive the big shiny juggernaut but was turned down as they require applicants to be a bell end for a minimum of two years due to insurance policies .It seems the job entails dealing with a lot of Poles .

It’s not just the poles it’s the planks which will get you. :smiling_imp:

How do we fill this site labourer job which no one wants.
Bingo tell em it’s a distance class 1 driver job. Then we get some naive hopeful mug to deliver the stuff arounf the houses with the knackered 12/18 tonner as well as handle it all on site and at base. With the win win of paying them less than a site labourer’s wage.

Are not Aldis advertizing for Warehouse staff “with LGV licences” these days?
“Most of your duties - will not be driving”.

Does that mean that you pick your load, load your load, supervise the other staff working with you, type up the papework at the transport office, and then after 8 hours on duty - do the 1 hour each way run to the store for the delivery… Knock off around 10-11 hours shift, get paid for a 48 hour week over five days, so only 9.36hrs paid per day then?
