How much holiday do you get given?

how much paid holiday do you get from your company?

None.

5.6 weeks

25 days but that’s doing 5 on 3 off, all in all I get 162 days off a year.

you should have known that harry when you started with that monk feller , worst kind of employer !!!

30 days including bank holidays

the legal requirement is 28 days per year, which CAN include bank holidays

as there are 8 bank holidays per year (in England), your company only needs to give you 20 days to take as and when

Tell me about it, I have to pay for any damage I do, he makes me pay for the diesel and the tyre wear, I even had to give up an hour of last weekend writing a letter to a dodgy claims solicitor explaining why he isn’t liable for some Egg and Spoon’s imaginary damages claim.

For the first 4 years 15 days holiday. You don’t get any extra days off for bank holidays. If your rota dictates that you are working on a Bank holiday you work but get double time and 8 hours. After for years, you get 20 days holiday. If your rest day happens to coincide with a bank holiday, you will get 10 hours paid holiday at single time which amounts to around £50 after tax. There is no choice on whether you work a bank holiday or not. If you don’t want to work a bank holiday, you had better put in a holiday application form months in advance and hope that others haven’t decided to do the same or you’re stuffed.

7.5 weeks,on 4x10hr shifts.

20 days + 8 bank holidays, annoyingly though I have to save 3 days for christmas

Owen

Two weeks at Christmas including bank hols, week following Easter inc bank holiday, 2 weeks in summer plus all bank hols.

Usually can be a bit flexible and shunt Easter hol to summer or vice versa, but could be forced to take Easter week off. Usually work it and get paid extra.

Christmas is a shut down but quite happy to be off then.

20 days, which with 4 on 4 off shifts gives me 5X12 day holidays every year if I time them right.

28 days working 5 on 3 off.

6 weeks

So far, I seem to be winning in having the least amount of holidays.

29 days but only work 4 days a week so its about 7wk and 1 day

How do you only get 15 days, when the legal minimum is 28 (which may include bank holidays)?
Do you only work part-time?

20 days to take as and when

Employees dont have a right to take their holiday as and when.

Don’t think Mr Spanker is an employee mate .
