How much do you get paid nights out?

You don’t have to answer and its not a willy waving contest, I’m just wondering what the going rate is.

What do you get paid for your night in the cab?

Also, what does your employer pay parking if they do?

£25 plus any parking but I tend to use industrial estates if possible

I get £28, but I only get up to £13 for parking, so tend to layby or Industrial estate it, on the rare occasion I night out

I get £19.00 but get parking paid don’t matter how much it costs that’s the only reason I’ll use msa,s or Truckstops because of the free meal voucher which can be upto £10.00.

£23.70 for me and as for parking we head for one of our outlets all cctv’d up so relatively safe

£22.50 uk and £27.00 european.
All parking paid…

We get £65 a night as we have both HGV and Van drivers doing N/O, some get B&B some dont. We have to pay any parking out of this but usually use industrial estates

31 December 2012 £33.85 This is the rate for Day cab Subsistence from the IR.

If you have a sleeper cab you can be paid 75% of the above plus £2 per day meal allowance Is that £27.39

It used to depend on what Tax Office you came under for your employers area. Is that still the same ?

Yes, that’s almost exactly what I pay myself, although I made the 75% calculation £25.38 rather than £25.39. Still, what’s a penny?

I’ll just add that the £2 meal allowance can be paid for any day worked, and is not dependent on having a night out, so I usually pay myself four lots of £25.38 a week and five lots of £2.

I’m near Leicester and took me ages to get in there, usually only get in if you know someone who works there but the 2 n/o’s a week bump up the money :slight_smile:

i get off the firm im at £20 but pay myself £25.40, parking is paid but no meal voucher. ive paid parking once in 5 months.
