How much do you get paid nights out?

£21.00 a night cash, all parking paid. £28.00 euro all parking paid again

i have seen quite a few off your firm always coming up the A25 from lille.

If you have a sleeper cab you can be paid 75% of the above plus £2 per day meal allowance Is that £27.39

Yes, that’s almost exactly what I pay myself, although I made the 75% calculation £25.38 rather than £25.39. Still, what’s a penny?

I’ll just add that the £2 meal allowance can be paid for any day worked, and is not dependent on having a night out, so I usually pay myself four lots of £25.38 a week and five lots of £2.

You will never make money as an owner driver if you round everything down

<.5 Round it down

.5 Round it up

£18 per night, and they’ll pay parking if i’m loaded. expected to use a layby if i’m empty

Don’t do nights out now, but last job paid £23.06. All parking paid but not with meal vouchers, we got a £2 meal allowance.

Maritime paid around 22.50 IIRC and most parking was on account - again with no meal voucher.

Roadways was 22.50 and parking paid 100%

Hadfields was around 28 quid and parking paid 100%

I’ve done a few others, but mostly agency. Had 1 agency that said “night out £15” I said “home tonight then”

I think you have to have done a minimum number of hours for the meal allowance? Is it 5? Not an issue to most truck drivers like

£22.50 a night with parking costs covered by firm, excluding the meal voucher part. The 4 Euro nights I’ve done were £25.00 a night.

they could pay more than the cash amounts quoted
as long as you have genuine receipts

£20 for a night out. Pays parking if we’re loaded. Will pay if we’re empty but prefers you not to.

£26 per night out, parking paid loaded or empty but i haven’t stopped at a msa for 3 years now. i have my places all over country i know are safe to stop overnight

jonboy

£20.50 per night and all parking paid no lay byes allowed

I’ve noticed a lot of drivers leaving the doors open to advertise being empty is that worth the hastle or just being paranoid.

Does it also make an assumption that those who haven’t opened their doors are loaded with nickable goodies??

£26.50 + meal allowance £3.00 + all parking paid with meal vouchers.no parking in layby’s allowed

We get £30 BUT ,
The way it’s done is £23 tax free ,£7 taxed

Agency, we get £25 no matter who its for. Parking is reimbursed and at the discretion of the employing comany.

The OP asked about night out allowance. Straight away drivers start to include parking costs in the mix. Its nothing at all to do with n/o money which is a personal allowance.

If a co. refused to pay reasonable parking costs, so that you can park where there are facilities, I wouldn’t be working for them, end of.

We get £31 uk
£35 Europe
£36 on a ferry

£22.50 per night + parking fees returned in wage won’t pay for meal voucher though. £13 per day meal allowance paid on any shift over 4.5 hours.

Have heard of HMRC quibbling about paying any night-out money to drivers on a long-sea ferry crossing on the grounds that bed and food are provided so no expense incurred for the driver.
