Most people have a dashcam to act as proof in the event of a collision.
He appears to have his so he can see what happened.
Either that or hes using it instead of the window for his forward view!
I know what you’re saying, and maybe there is too much stuff in that pic, but it’s just the same old VOSA and Police ‘Theoryworld’ stuff a bit like having to strap down pallets of cardboard packaging that could …‘‘rampage through the curtains at any second’’
Maybe this guy has driven around like that since the 80s, instantly refuting the '‘Total road carnage’ that it could spark off.
I just put it under the same heading as everything else today…Just another excuse to do you and make money.
Why not just pull him and tell him to take it all down,.and don’t let us see you again?? instead of all the high profile blue lights etc, like he’s committed murder
■■■■ exaggerated mountains out of mole hills as per norm.
(Cue the usual self righteous expert suspects in 5 4 3 2…)
Maybe I should get rid of these then…
DAF/MAN man is taking the ■■■■ just a bit, whether he’s been accident free for the last 3 million miles isn’t the point, he’s going down the road with a bloody great neon sky arrow pointing at himself urging every bod in an official yellow coat to pull him.
I can’t stand anything in any window, don’t even like the bloody lane departure gizmo sticking up from the centre dash.
Look a bit like a knocking shop as portrayed on films what with the rouge lamps.

As I said, I agree he’s gone a bit ott with his in cab decor.
But it IS the point Juddian, …well my point anyway, it may not be yours or even my style, but you can sure as hell bet that they let numerous lane hoggers pass, numerous cars cutting in, and general crap m.way driving to prioritise on matey’s bad taste tat in his screen …which in real terms has caused no problems on a daily basis for x no of years, but Theoryworld says it’s a huge danger.
Driver harassment at it’s best.
just another taliban with the cab looking like a tarts parlour.
easy pickings for plod to justify their job and lift a fine thats not going to be contested .
possibly the centre pennant is kicking the ■■■ a tad if he cant see the suicide mirror, but just another case of much ado about nothing at all.
they should have told him to remove some of it to make their point, then left him alone so he could put it all back up again 10 mins later the same as you do when the trucks going in for a psv.
One of our old drivers had flags, stickers and pennants etc all around his windscreen, it used to take us ages to remove it all for annual test! He used to say that “the cab looked as plain as an army khazi” without all the embellishments!
My old mate Jim Goodwin had his share as well, although not all on the screen nmp.
Pete.
I remember that tipper,.I always had him down as a wannabe artic/big truck driver.
It was almost the law in the 80s to have your screen over adorned with flags of places you’d never been to
Still can’t remember an epidemic of carnage at that time down to it though after saying that.
The one in the pic does show a Polsky banner, had it been a uk football one it would have been ok… lucky the laptop wasnt open and in centre screen…as they sometimes are…must agree with ya Rob…yes a warning would have sufficed…maybe thtas what he got…who knows…but i remember getting pulled years ago when i was a boy, routine inspection, everything 100%…just as i was pulling away, a clever pratt in a high viz, told me to take down my country flags…tried to reason till she said its your money not mine…doont know what she meant…they wasnt allowed to take money in those days…anyway i did take em down, then first laybye, put em up again… spanish spears were left in the corners…ha ha
I got moaned at for having a sat nav in the middle of windscreen (not by police / VOSA), but I assume this has to be a left hand drive or that banner is seriously messing up the view.
Is pretty much a good way to get stopped and shafted. Wonder if VOSA were there to check everything else.
I personally dont think it looks all that bad. Maybe the pointy MAN flag but even at that Id still say the view wasnt dangerous. He did manage to get all the way from Poland at least once without killing any nuns, orphans, kittens or people going to visit sick relatives or carrying new born babies

Ah bless give the poor pole a break away from home for weeks on end just wants it nice and comfy gives him a homely feeling ■■
If only there was a reference guide to show what is acceptable window embellishment, or a handy guide to how to secure a load of timber…
Personally I think dafman would have got away with it if he didn’t have that dinky/corgi police car stuck in front of him.

rollin thunder…what a bell end…
Rolling in chunder might have been more appropriate.
Your enforcement mob would have kittens if they came across one of the ridiculous drop visors that seem to be all the rage now.
i used to have a few stickers in the corner of my windscreen till one day in slow moving traffic a woman stepped out and i didnt see her. i was only going about 5mph and she assumed id slow up to let her cross. but cos i hadnt noticed i didnt slow at all and ■■■■ near hit her. since that day iv not had anything on the screen
