When i was a kid we used to call them argos racers ,what a waste of money, drivers moan about wages but they are willing to pay for tat
and operators complain about low rates but can afford to spend and extra 20k pimping up a new truck!

The ones that get me are the guys who get out a truck that is not even theirs.
■■■■ parlours.
The wife and I once saw a blinged up lorry parked at the Stockyard, the wife ■■■■■■ out laughing and when I asked her why she said have you seen the nameplate in the window of that blinged up lorry, I looked and it said " Butch", she said I’ve never seen anything so gay in my life!
you need the odd one to brighten up a dark night
I’ve seen the little Daf too
sayersy:
There is also a little daf rigid flying about that belongs to a bed manufacturer. It has so many bright white LED lights, it’s like being overtaken by a sunbed!
brilliant.

As far as I know, it is still illegal to show any kind of blue light on a vehicle other than on an emergency services vehicle, so your over-taker was almost certainly breaking da law! robert

looks to me like there is gold piping on show for the curtain tie backs.
I don’t see why people get so annoyed at bling. im not a fan of lorries that look like they have crashed into the cdc shop, but its not me driving so doesn’t bother me, usually have a wee laugh at the state of some of them, too much crap can look cluttered or not thought out. “ill buy it, because its for sale”
im guessing most of the guys who moan drive fleet motors and would secretly love a few leds and spotlights

Not too keen on the flames , but it’s still nice like you say not OTT ,bling doesn’t bother me, some look crap too much detail to take in but some can look spot on, not to cluttered etc simple but effective!!

Side interior curtains are getting out of control ,why would you want to ride round having to lean forward to see at junctions etc just so you can have a crafty smoke or use the phone ,its dangerous and wants sorting out,if you have got a nice motor why hide behind sloppy curtains, mark h is the worst culprit, sorry m8![]()
I have my curtains pulled forward because I want them that way, as for crafty smokes or the phone, I don’t smoke an have a Bluetooth hands free, as for how much I can see, I can see just enough as if I never had the curtains the way I do because I have my mirrors set correctly and my driving position is correct too, there is a hell of a lot more drivers than just me mate, as for the reason I have them like that is because I think it looks nice and I like to take care of my truck wether it’s company owned or not
I’ll admit to the pulled forward curtains for 2 reasons, the ■■■■■■■■ in tractor units with cameras (that get a view and a shot of a pulled across curtain with a protruding middle finger) and the fact that my eyes are too light sensitive, the same reason for my sun visor pulled down permanently, too much light shining at me all day and I get a migraine, yeh, I know I’m a delicate soul and not a well man
As for them bloody stupid light boards , have you noticed that when these guys are parked up at night, they leave those things switched on with the curtains open…wtf is that all about??

Just darn dangerous IMHO.
You should see some of the trucks where I work ( Searon Logistics) . Some of the lads have spent thousands no joke, some look ok but others are well ott. Don’t see the attraction myself but each to their own

I quite believe it mate, I don’t know why some operators have not been clever and crafty enough to invent some kind of blinged up tyres or a type of ‘designer fuel’ some of these knob heads would be daft enough to fall for it
