How much are you spending a day?

I’ve just made sandwiches for the rest of the week, cleaned out my old thermos and got a pack of rolling backy to last till the weekend.

Up till now I had been spending £10 a day 5 days a week on 20 ready made ■■■■, red bull (or similar) and two packs of crisps. If on a night out (once a week) then I would spend another £10 easily.

£50 x 52 plus extra £10 a week = £3120 a year!

Time to quit smoking for a start.

I spend £0.00 per day unless I have to pay for tools ( which I do get back from boss )

Take everything I need with me

its a good question but also a sign of the poverty we are living in when we can no longer
afford to live

Usually around a fiver through the day, but I’d rather have a nice warm meal through the day than soggy sandwiches, plus my time making the sandwiches is worth more than the fiver I’d save.

When I was on Maritime though, I’d have a lot of food in the cab, and even now, if I’m tramping, I take a lot of tuna/pasta dishes, more about health than saving money though.

I take everything with me. I will not buy crap food from MSA’s or Lay-by vans.

I eat a lot of fresh fruit & nuts take them with me as snack to eat

Lot of fleet trucks don’t have a fridge, not carrying a cool box in and out everyday.

If I’m in a truck all week, I’ll take some healthy / healthier stuff from home with me, which also saves a few quid, but in and out everyday, I have enough of a job remembering my balls, and they’re kept in a bag

I take a Thermos cooler bag, fits inside my rucksack, nice cool sandwiches & drinks

200 L&M per week. between 25 and 39 euros.
about £50 on food that i take with me. and about 10-15 euros on espressos.(i’m an addict).

At least £150 a day on rent boys, ketamine, whiskey & pipe tobacco. Good times

Sure am, I decided three satsumas a day was just too extravagant

I try not to spend anything if i can!!!
I take enough food with me for the week, but i did find a chip shop last night :grimacing:

Sarnies, pork pie, crisps, cake and choccy bar plus flask full of hot water and I’ve jars of tea, coffee and powdered milk in the cab. Don’t take cash with me incase there’s a collection :smiling_imp:

Last job I had it was 20 quid a day, but that was everything. Food ■■■■ drink and coffee.
3 weeks tramping around euro land, flying and flying back not easy to take loads of stuff with you

Paaaaarrrrrrttttttttyyyyyyyy

i pre-roll ciggys at home and take sandwiches with me along with a few cans of energy drinks but i do find myself buying more munchies during the day at times but only if i get really hungry. i still cant resist a burger van though, especially the one at berwick since it was taken over by a woman who wears low cut tops

£50 a week, including the weekand as well, which include’s the pub, and any going out cost’s bar fuel.
e.g, took 50 out on sunday morning, went to a railway in norfolk. that cost about 25-30 for the day minus fuel. the other 20-25. will last me till sunday morning. never gone over the 50 budget yet.
