If you understand it as that I see what is good in this country, but see also it’s downsides and that I see no reason why I should not be able to speak openly about both, when everyone else do, then yes, I do slag and slate this country, just as 99% people on that forum, except from this tiny minority, who wear pink glasses and see Britain as the country perfect in every way.

I am happy about JOKES about Poland, and about JOKES about Britain. I am not happy about telling seriously some crap about Poland and I am not happuy about terlling seriously some crap about Britain. Your problem is that you think that all is allowed when speaking about Poland and nothing is allowed when speaking about Britain.

My bet is that it’s one Pole who’s being paid minimum wage and the others are all Brits having to work for their dole money but the union has told them work to rule on the basis of they pretend to pay us so we pretend to work.

Thats quite likely. Then the Pole will be offered better job by the passer by, who saw him to be the only one working, and the others will go to internet forum and complain “we can’t get a job, because bloody Poles are stealing it!!!” 
Orys ole mate, you are spot on with your very last sentance. I know quite a few people from behind the ‘curtain’ and the majority say is was better there then than now. Pity it wasn’t still up IMHO!!

The Pole might be offered a another job involving more responsibility and more work during the day but the money will be the same.Meanwhile the ‘Labour’ Party will continue to complain about the cost of living crisis caused by wages falling while prices are rising while inviting more Poles to add to the Labour supply.Until all of a sudden we’ll have an economy and living standards that are just like Poland’s.At which point we might as well hand the place over to the Polish government and abolish Britain and make it a Polish colony.Then we can all emigrate somewhere else with a richer economy like Luxembourg.

No, you have missed the point. We are in the starting point where both Poland and Britain have the same level of life (as you said in your story).
Then Polish people go home and start to work hard, while British people sit on their bums and they say “we wont’ rise our bums for that money”. As a result Polish economy is growing and British economy is sinking further, as the social costs become enormous

If you can’t stand that someone is talking a joke about your nation, just not read it. You don’t need to dig into it and try to find meaning that aren’t there just to give yourself excuse to attack another nation. It’s leads to nowhere.
As for the second world war, we had that discussion here already and if you want to see my answer explaining what were good sides and what were weaknesses of the army that had just 19 years to build itself from scratch after beating Soviet Union in 1920, use search engine.
