So, I lost my licences in October, lost my job obviously. Claimed Universal credit and got awarded £0, how do I pay bills then

Have they said why? Citizen’s Advice would probably be a good place to start.

Why did you loose your licences, and can you do other work? Depending on circumstances, you may be applying for the wrong benefits.

I waited the 6 weeks,then they said £0,why not tell me day one?

If you’ve lost your job/licence because of something you’ve done you’re entitled to nothing.
That was brought in to make working more attractive than chucking your job and living on the dole.

Go stack shelves, you’ll probably earn more than a driver does and the hours are probably more sociable.

Go stack shelves, you’ll probably earn more than a driver does and the hours are probably more sociable.

According to an earlier post, he lost his licence due to alcohol dependence. Quite how much of this was down to Mr Greenway is not known…

What’s the alternative?
Live off benefits? How will that help? A downward spiral of depression and drinking…
Op needs to get a job and get his life sorted.
Only he can help himself.
