How do you lift a pump truck?

Electric pump truck how do you lift the legs to lift your load?
Tried pumping handle but doesn’t work.

The last one…

I used was an antique. There should be two levers. One for forward/reverse and the other for pumping up and dropping down.
Alternatively, you’ve tried all those and it’s shagged anyway.

Like a normal pump truck , :unamused:
Flick the leaver down and pump the handle :unamused: :unamused:

Push “trigger” on right forward.
It has 3 positions.
Pull against spring to lower.
Middle to manouevre truck.
Forwrad to lift.

Never mind the pump truck, how did you secure that load out of interest?

You’re job is to open back doors , reverse on bay , hand keys in , it’s then there problem how they get the load off , what’s the next question , how do the tills in the shop work

Yes that was it thanks ( I had to call work and get an answer quickly)

If it was me I’d have asked to be shown how to operate the thing before I went off. If they said no time go go go I wouldn’t do it…simple. Always ask 1st because different tail lift types, fridge controls, yada yada. Saves time and embarassment in front of the customer and the mirror

You would be well and truly frecced if you delivered to an Aldi rdc.
This a wind up . . . isnt it ?

No you wouldn’t because they will ‘‘train’’ you how to use it, I found this to my cost because I pretended I didn’t know how to use one because I didn’t want to self tip, I wish I had just got on with it
I am still waiting for the OP to tell me how he secured that load, I would like to know for future reference

Lesson learned. They look so simple, but if you don’t know, they don’t work.
I did try the tail lift in the yard before going out because I’d never used a fold under type before.

Bays? If only. One day I hope to be as good as you dozy, mate. However, for now I’m still delivering to houses.
Did I say delivering? Maybe dropping off? [emoji15]
Second one went better than the first.

Isn’t everyone allowed to have their first day?

At least you didn’t do this youtube.com/watch?v=JewpWa5 … TubeLegacy

Check the rating of the tail lift too, some are only rated at 1 tonne.
If you have to do that crap every day, just remember there are better jobs out there.

Thankfully I’d already seen that and knew to let go. Plus the pallet truck stopped on the tail lift and just the bag fell. (Thanks to double pallet, as top one was broken)

it was only one bag at a time.
It’s all learning. [emoji3]

I’ve never seen a company deliver dumpy bags of gravel to a house from a curtainsider, I guess they’re too cheap to splash out on a hiab vehicle and hiab qualified drivers, which would be the proper tool for this kind of work.

You’re doing it wrong, mate. There’s a much quicker, easier way to it
