just trying this out, dunno if Ive got it right !
The pic came out fine, but a bit to big (for my screen anyway)
Have a look in the tools link above the pic in your Photobucket account (they donât call it âtoolsâ ).
Resize to 800 x 600 pixels.
When the resizing is done youâre asked to save it and given the option of changing the name. Youâll get âŚ1571atClaphamon10-08-03025.jpg - copy (or something like that ), remove the - copy , off the end of the name and the resized pic will replace your original, the link in here will still work - to the resized pic as well.

Underneath the image at Photobucket youâll see 4 options, the last one says âIMG Codeâ, place your cursor in the text box next to where it says âIMG Codeâ and the link will be copied to your clipboard automatically, a tool tip appears that says âCopiedâ.
Now all you have to do is come back here and paste the link into your post by either hitting âCtrl + vâ on your keyboard or choosing âpasteâ from the right click menu.
When you use Photobucket in this way the âIMGâ tags are automatically added to you post so you donât need to bother with that.
As this thread seems to have become a bit of a testing ground Iâd suggest you try it out here.
Looks ok but need to resize or trim the image .Do I do that on photobucket, and what size should I choose? Thanks for your help by the way Iâm beginning to see the light
You can edit the image at Photobucket, over the top of the image at Photobucket youâll see 5 options, the first is âeditâ, click on âeditâ and the image will show in the editing screen, near the top of the page youâll see 7 tabs, the first tab is labelled âBasicâ and this is the page where you need to be, underneith the tabs youâll see 10 icons, click on the one that says âCropâ, now using your mouse drag a rectangle shape over the part of the image that you want to keep, you can resize this rectangle by dragging the square blocks that youâll see, when youâre happy with the selections right click over the image and choose âCrop Selected Areaâ, now underneath the image choose to save the image, if you choose âReplace Originalâ you wonât need to repost it here.
When youâve cropped the image you can resize it on Photobucket, after cropping choose âResizeâ from the icons above the image, how much you can enlarge a picture depends on the quality of the image so you just need to play about with different sizes, this is easily done at Photobucket as you can see the image as you resize it.
hereâs your image after itâs been cropped and resized to 640 x 480 on Photobucket.
Tacho Youâre a diamond thanks a lot for you help going to have a play around now with the sizing and cropping.Hopefully weâve cracked it.Cheers
Tacho Just one last thing .Iâve scanned 2 pictures at once to try and speed the process up but will I be able to separate them or will they be treated as i image when I come to post them. Thanks Rob

if you donât have a suitable image editing program on your computer you can separate them on Photobucket if you want.
At Photobucket crop the first picture from the image but then be sure to hit the âSave a Copyâ button, this will put a copy of the cropped image into your Photobucket album, you can then edit the original image again and crop the second picture in the same way, again if you use the âsave a copyâ button you will still have the original to use.
As an example hereâs 2 separate snippets of your original image.
Many thanks for all your help my friend.Better get scanning now !!

Have you put the & at the ends of EACH photo
Did you put each one on here one at a time?
I found that if doing multiple photos to one reply on here, then I copy each one on PB and put the photo onto a word doc one at a time then copy and paste the lot at once - might be easier to open 2 internet windows = see next post
Did this by having 2 internet windows at same time - this one and a PB one so that I can copy and paste directly
This one above first - now back to the other window for PB
This one above second- now back to the other window for PB
and this one last

Hairy Gorilla, where did you take the Humber Bridge Picture? Did you work on the construction?
If I am pasting a lot of photos, I open a notepad and my photobucket together then flash copy them to notepad.
Then you can edit them or add a title between each pic.
If you need you can even type your image tags in notepad then select all and copy the lot to a bulletin board.

The only way I can reconstruct your problem is by posting two images without the correct tags between the images.
The code above will result in the image bellow.
It should be like this:

Resulting in this:
If you want the images below one another just paste the links bellow one another.
