Fixed that for you
Many moons ago I used to work to the following pay scale -
First 3000 kms = £300
after that I was on 17 p a mile .
Best pay cheque I had was £750 . I wouldn’t do it now .Fridge work out of Northern Ireland all over the UK Inverness to Dover and pretty much anywhere in between .

Passed my test in March and started driving full time in April - after a slow start as a newbie I’ve done about 35,000 k’s in artics. Most miles was night trunking at just under 700 k’s a night, next milk tankers at about 600k’s a shift, now doing days with up to 7 drops about 2000 k’s a week and spending a lot more time strapping down loads and undoing them and waiting to be unloaded… would prefer to be driving although the nights on the motorway were a bit tedious.

How the hell did you do that it is equal to 3500 miles in a week which would be 500 miles per day for 7 days… Oh I seee… out of Ireland

Thats where all my time goes, waiting around and strapping down.
A 5 day week sees me around 2600/2800 usually, a 6 day averages 3200/3500.
In 2000 when I decided a Sprinter van and own fast freight business was the way forward I used to do 2 trips to Zona Franca with car parts from Stockton per week and that worked out at 5000 miles per week.
Never again!
A 4 day week on trolleys i do about 1600-2100kms a week.
Usually 2800 to 3000km over 5 days.
Used to be nearer 4000 when I was on tippers with analogue charts and the off road driving rule!
Only about 100-150kms per day.
So the most I’ll do in a week is 750kms.
I know some of you do my weekly total in 1 shift, but I probably do more drops and pickups in a day than some of you do in a month.
About 250km a day. Some of the guys over in Canada put some massive totals every day.
