I first met Rikki at Peterbourgh Fest 2003. He had kindly donated a “small” area of the Trucknetuk stand to the John Vasey campaign.
We actually took over the whole stand for the weekend and turned it into The John Vasey Campaign Stand. The Blue Ribbon campaign was born there as were a lot of other ideas, some of which have progressed better than the Blue Ribbon.
I’m sure Rikki did not realise what he was doing when he donated PART of his site and I certainly did not know what to expect but it was a great weekend.
