But I do love a good discussion so thanks for that.

I thought shunters only grunted, gesticulated and swore! :open_mouth:

When you first start driving your mind is whirling around in overload worrying about the tacho, all the driving rules, how to get to the drop, how tight the reverse will be, finding the place, getting lost and driving into a situation you can’t get out of, time slots, paperwork, how to work the tail lift, what all the buttons are for etc etc…this all makes silly mistakes so much more likely to happen! You made a mistake - all drivers have at some stage!! Don’t beat yourself up about it, move on, give it a couple of months you will be looking back and laughing about it!!!

At the end of the day, it all comes out the same hole, your not going to do to much damage to the engine.

Few weeks time the lads down the office will be taking the ■■■■ out of you and you’ll all just laugh it off

Hell you might even get a few more miles out of a tank  Boss might actually thank you for not spending so much time fueling up!

I never got told about ad-blue during my training or by any employer.
As ad-blue is generally only for trucks you’d think they would take the time to explain it.

I am glad I am not the only one. Although its not nice being clueless about a lot of things we should have been told and shown.
