Just an observation BJ, but do the gents and ladies loos at the HA offices look identical as you lot come across as a load of cubicle peeing squealers.
Your right of course, hard shoulder for emergency use only, well that and for the HA to muck about on themselves. The Tobemeister is just pullin your pipe a little though.

Obviously you haven’t been to “The Cube” the HA’s Central hub because that’s exactly how the toilets were designed, I find it confusing every time i go for a Pee
In Toby’s case he’d have been gone by the point anyway so you’d have ended up looking like a right [zb]. Mind you, there wouldn’t be any noticeable difference from the norm there.
Except we still have your reg and will pass it to DVSA to pay a visit to your offices, go over all your Tacho records including the one at that moment that showed your tacho was on rest thus giving you a nice ticket anyway
No. You wouldn’t, so stop talking ■■■■ please and trying to act all hard man on the internet.
my mates just been done £100 fotr hafin 43min break, then £400 fine for two minor offences aswell.you could of stalled them for two mins, how long would it take for police to arrive now you got to steer clear of vosa for the next few months cos you got a £100 quid bounty on your head.
Left hand down!:

I’ll just assume your trolling now LHD because all the data now being trawled through with greater depth points to HGV incidents causing more congestion incidents due to accidents, lost loads, debris etc so they are going into operators yards where they are involved to do incident prevention work as it’s better than doing incident clear up work.
But carry on as you obviously know what’s happening

How about getting your own house in order before going round telling other people how to do their job. It’s often down to your incompetency why a lot of the gridlock and problems happen.
Here’s one which you can explain to me. Why close both of the main southern trunk routes on the east side of the country at the exactly same time? ie. last night coming down the A1 the A1 was closed at 38 and the M1 was closed at 40. Give me a good and valid reason why these were closed on the same night, causing gridlock through both Doncaster and Wakefield when they could’ve done one one week and the other on the next.

Send a complaint into HAIL about it, Also to the Transport Minister
Big Jase.
You mention sending in Dvsa to raid the office for tacho infringments and getting a parking ticket.
Who are you refering to in your post ?
If it is me ,then it is long drive to Turkey where my truck is based.
Send the parking ticket. It will be filed in the recycling department known as the bin.
You have no juradiction.I also park for free on the Msa.

Crack on
Just as I expected, the usual stock reply when you’ve been told on countless occasions that HAIL don’t give a ■■■■ and they never respond to complaints. So once again, you get your house in order first eh.
toby1234abc:
I was coming up to 4.15 driving time and planned to come off the M11 near Cambridge.
Then the slip road was stationary.
It is now 4.30 hours driving.
A 45 minute break is due.I pulled over on the slip road.
There was room for lorries to pass me.
Hato turns up and are sending a tow truck assuming i have broken down as cctv monitoring the roads.
It was now 43 minutes break.
They ordered me to move even though i only needed a few more minutes.
My fault for not stopping before they said and they have sent for the Police.
I said i was not sure of the area.
If i fell asleep later ,who is at fault then ?
Should have i waited for the old bill tp sign the printout ?

Funny that i see a fair few Hails and they always get chased to see what response was sent back always has to be done within a certain timeframe, The same with Ceo’s questions(Chief Executive officer) to top Banana Graham Dalton, and MSU’s (Ministerial support unit) Mp’s and Ministers questions.
Obviously you know better or maybe you just get the answer you were hoping for ■■
Many don’t when they are patently in the wrong.
I have raised issues in the past many times but working nationwide with masses of different areas and contractors meeting on the boundaries doesn’t always help and leads to disjointed working, not defending it, but no one has come up with anything better yet.
Off course LHD we are all at fault because someone sitting in an office let both roads be closed at same time. Why would you think a traffic officer on road dealing with incidents would have any input into that decision, especially one not even in that region? That’s like me moaning at an Asda driver because they have moved the baked bean aisle.
Remember that recent TV show about the HA and how neutered they looked when the Police took control of the motorway due to a serious incident…talk about a load of nancies wishing they could be coppers.
In my heirachy of things this is how I prioritise those mucking about with the roads.
The Police
DVSA/VOSA
Traffic Wardens
Lollipop Ladies
HATOS
The reason they are bottom of my list is because they haven’t got the sense to use the matrix signs to protect their own workforce. Only yesterday I saw one of their front line soldiers moving the cones after a road closure in a live lane when pitch black and in doing so he was in so much danger it beggers belief. Every matrix sign on the approach had informed motorists the road was closed at that very junction leading the traffic into the nearside lane on approach. Kudos for his bravery but really these HA ■■■■■ need to get their own house in order big time before worrying about squealing to their superiors who i presume treat them as a joke anyway.
Oh and yes I was one of the few to change lanes to avoid him whilst he longingly looked at me wishing he had chosen truck driving instead of being potential roadkill.

Except we still have your reg and will pass it to DVSA to pay a visit to your offices, go over all your Tacho records including the one at that moment that showed your tacho was on rest thus giving you a nice ticket anyway, best just not to stop on the shoulder but what would be the fun in that if you can’t cause an issue between the HA and you just for fun. Weird the things people do to get off.
Linking up with DVSA will change drivers attitudes towards you , in my opinion you’re going to go from someone who helps drivers to keep the roads clear to enforcement officers
(OK, I accept some of you who are failed or wannabe coppers will like this)

When you fail repeatedly to educate the stupid i suppose the next step is enforcement Unless you have a better plan to keep the roads open
Why are driver so scared of carrying on until they find a safe place to park?
Read the rules lads, its perfectly acceptable to carry on to a safe place to park regardless of the fact you are out of driving time. You could call in to every service station on the M1 t ofind there is nowhere to park, no problem, carry on to the next until there is a safe place to park. It’s perfectly ok to do so providing you write on your print out.
Yes you could technically drive for 5 or 6 hours and get away with it, learn the rules!
