Surely its safer to keep the high vis on when leaving or returning to the cab in the dark or in the flow of traffic and remove it when you sit down? I was in Red lion on Wendesday and kept mine on til i was at my table. Its twilight and with all the vehicles goign everywhere its better safe than sorry?

Absolutely. Why stop there though? You’ve got a hard hat, right? Wack it on then. You never know when you’re going to bang your head. Safety glasses? Yep, they’ll stop anything from getting in your eye. Best put them gloves on too incase your plate is a bit hot. Better safe than sorry.
