Is the OP really so upset that some guys cant be bothered to take off their HIVIS he has to photograph them or is it for some kind of weird perverse voyeuristic kink! Either way its a little strange.

Everybody apart from the habitual hi viz wearers take the ■■■■ out of those that wear a bi viz behind the wheel, (aka agency drivers 
)
I think he is just illustrating that some take their habit even further, as far as the cafe and pub 
… and pointing out how oblivious they are to the fact that they look an utter and complete ■■■■■.

Ah right… Nope still don’t get the joke. I suppose I’m one to be ridiculed then, I wear a high vis jacket that I carry my phone, wallet and loose change in the pockets, maybe I should have a second jacket in the cab just for grabbing a bite to eat or a cupa.

I wear mine in the services. I will be happy to pose for a nominal fee as long as it’s not cold I’m a little camera shy 
I think Tangos point is less to do with people not bothering to take them off before entering the pub/cafe and more to do with them actually putting them on to go in! Surely nobody wears a great big coat complete with hi vis to drive in? Even the most Bobby basic fleet motor has a good enough heating system that you can drive in a tee shirt?
I put on my hi viz jacket when I arrive in the yard and don’t take it off till I get back to my car at the end of the shift… reason being I don’t want to transfer any grease, oil, muck or owt else to the tidy interior of my car. Now that aint too sinister surely?
I don’t use truck stops for food, nor MSA’s, nor works canteens, as value my health too much…
