A couple of years ago whilst on a cruise ship, we docked in some Norwegian port.
And as is often the case the ship ■■■■■■■ on the container quay.
I notice a driver in a BRING truck with orange hi vis trousers walking around.
The trousers made him just as visible as a mucky hi vis tabbard.
Of course, Norway is an intelligent country, and probably see this as making good sense.
In this stupid country of ours, i imagine it will be deemed as unacceptable.
But not intelligent enough to have a proper cruise terminal whereas this ‘stupid country’ has quite a few …

Do you know exactly how many French soldiers lost their lives in the 1st and 2nd WW’s defending their country and fighting the German army FFS!!■■ And also helping the cause, remember we were land locked, no stretch of water to protect us! Yes the allies came to help, I live in Normandy and know the history of D-Day. I have seen the cemeteries in the East of France from the 1stWW.
Who knows, if it wasn’t for that little expanse of water between Europe and England what the outcome would have been in the 2ndWW add to that the fact that Hitler decided to go north and attack the Russian front !!!
