Thats right,its only a forum and I expect to be scoffed at anyway by a certain percentage of people when I talk about the subject.I remember one guy in my old job flew into a rage and his face was red,eyes bulging ,just because I brought up the subject of how cells are so complicated,it would be impossible for all those ingredients to come together,oh,and then grow a skin to hold it together in the bag,oh and to replicate itself…When I suggested only God could have made this ,he got really angry with me,so whatever I get on this forum was easier than dealing with that person.
But the message of Christianity is offensive because youre telling people they are a sinner and people dont like to be told that.⁸
Only science could have made us, we grew from bacteria millions of years ago, tiny micro particles that became life,we went through many cycles of life before humans ever appeared, no bloke with a wand suddenly made us, who made him then? It’s hilarious to see grown men still believe in santa, I mean God.

I like your analogy of the Rolls Royce but that is how bizzarre religious claims are of how the Universe was created. Allegedly according to the bible Eve was created from the rib of Adam, God sent Adam into a deep sleep and took one of his ribs from him and created Eve. Really and you believe that nonsense. Have you any idea of how impossible that is? I would sooner have faith in a pile of scrap metal blowing together and forming a Rolls Royce, both are equally as ridiculous and yet you believe the rib version of events.
Yes,its impossible.From our perspective its impossible but just like when Jesus performed miracles and rose from the dead,it cant be explainedthrough science,but God is above all of the natural world and can do anything.Like human conscience cant be explained.If you have a bucket full of lots of chemicals and you stir it up,the atoms will all obey the laws of physics in how they interact with each other.But the human brain.Is all the matter in my head just following the laws of physics too?Can I choose what to do? Or does my brain just respond to circumstances like a robot?&
My initial comment on this was that I can not believe that adults in the modern world actually and genuinely believe all this crap without even thinking about it.
It takes stupidity and shear gullibility to another level.
If I came on here and told you all that the tooth fairy left me a couple of quid under ny pillow last night, if the wife was winding me up in reality, and I was trying to convince you all it was true, my credibility would be right down the khazi.
So.why is it classed as normal by a lot of people to believe all this other stuff,.to what anybody with an ounce of common sense comes across as totally derisory,.and who can see right through it

Another thing,…Even I was taught during my religious instruction as a kid that the story of Adam and Eve should not be taken literally, I was taught it was in fact a version of a story with a '‘deeper meaning’.
In the same context as a parable in the New Testament

I hate to say but I am sat here in my tutu and wondering why anyone would doubt the exisitence of the tooth fairy. To some I can imagine that either they have never lost a tooth before as a child or someone has taken the money from under their pillows. Where the hell do you think the pound comes from when you wake up? The tooth fairy will judge you for this in your afterlife, dont be surprised if she takes all of your teeth away if you are a non believer and that includes dentures too.

I hope he comes to the truth one day but if he tells me that sort of thing,all I can do is tell I dont believe the same things,I cant add anymore…

After this fascinating post that I can see going on and on. I am extremely curios as to when and why are you a believer in all of this. Is this something that has followed you through life from childhood or have you actually had something that has happened to you that you have put down to a religious experience? Serious question.

I reckon we’re going round in circles, so as for ‘going on and on’ as you say, unless something crops up that is even more bizzare in terms of what people actually believe,(can’t see it when I read some of the cack) I reckon I’ll just sit and watch it rather than contribute.

People are surving cancers now that even a 20 years ago would have been terminal,so that was a blessing from God.

Why did you use the drugs? Surely if your god wants you to live, he would cure you? Or not give you cancer in the first place.
Or are drugs developed by scientists? The ones that can not explain what caused the Big Bang, and therefor are wrong.
The drugs dont create the images, your brain does. The Demons are already there. The drugs just help the brain to Express itself, for beter or worse. Just like alcohol.
Well glad you got over cancer mate, not with gods help though you should be thanking medical science for that. So is there anything that you cannot put down to science or otherwise?
Ive had odd things happen,like I bought this mask once at halloween with my son,we were just fooling around but I do believe the mask had an evik spirit in it because I heard odd sounds in the house,and when I went to work that night ,my wife rang me up at 3am,told me she couldnt sleep,felt like there was someone in the house watching her,the only time in 25 years marriage this has happened.It was only later,I made the connection with the mask.I was frightened to touch the ■■■■■■■ thing ,so I persuaded my friend at work to come home with me that morning and he picked it up and we dumped it in a bin a few miles away,everything went back to normal then
