Thanks for the laughs Trig :frowning:

Rip Trigger the one thing is he’ll be for ever on our screens and not forgotten …

Roger Lloyd-Pack, who has died aged 69, was best known as the gormless Trigger in the BBC One comedy Only Fools and Horses.

Possessed of a rubbery face, which he used to great effect, he was sometimes difficult to cast but never became typecast.

But it was his depth as an actor that enabled him to make much of the minor roles in which he often found himself.

And he reached out to an international audience when he played Barty Crouch Snr in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

A very dry, understated comedic talent who will be sadly missed. RIP.

Quinny also posted on this a few minutes earlier in Bully`s.

Hope ‘Dave’ sends a wreath!

That’s a real shame. One of the great comic characters of all time. RIP Trig.

R.I.P Trig

I know it’s nothing to do with trucks but very sad news that one of our most loved actors Roger-Lloyd-Pack who plays Trigger on Only Fools and Horses has died after a battle with cancer.
So come on give us your most memorable Trigger moment in Only Fools and Horses. Mine is when They are going to Margate and Micky Pearce says that Del probably got some idiot to make the sandwiches and Trigger pipes up and says," No I made them for him!" :grimacing: classic Trigger

Del Boy: “All they do is talk about money, they’re obsessed with it”
Trigger: “I saw one of them old fivers the other day”

Shortly after Del Boy does the classic fall behind the bar

Ive had this brush for twenty years,7 new heads and ten new handles.

R.I.P Roger AKA Trigger had loads of laughs over the years watching only fools , one of those sitcoms that wouldn’t have worked without certain people in their particular roles .

RIP Trigger.

Beat me to it Martin this was one of my favourite classic Trigger quotes.

Talking about Rodney and Cassandra’s new baby…
“If it’s a girl they’re going to call it Sigourney after an actress and if it’s a boy they’re calling it Rodney after Dave”

The famous Del Boy fall at the bar is just as funny with Trigger being so oblivious to what has just happened.

Rodney to Trigger,

“Eh Trigger, thought you said it was open 24 hours a day !”

Trigger,

“Yea,but not at night !”

When Denzel says “whys this council depot closed trigger you said it was open 24 hr” trigger replied " it is open 24 hour but not at night"
Rip sir you gave me many laughs

What an absolute legend R.I.P trig, I grew up on only fools and spend most evenings watching it on gold what a shame. There are so many superb trigger moments but my 2 favourites,

His first scene I think where he’s selling the brief cases to del,

Trigger: alright del you can have em for 14.

Del:14? Leave it out trig 5.

Trigger:12

Del:6

Trigger:10.

Del:9.

Trigger:8!
Lol
And my personal favourite when they raise a toast to Cassandra and Rodney.

"Ladies and gentleman please raise your glasses to our future mum and dad Cassandra and Rodney ".
Then with a pause
Trigger: Cassandra and DAVE lol gets me every time.

Creepy. I was looking through my DVD collection yesterday and thought I must watch some of the old Only Fools. RIP.
