Here's yet another reason to vote leave the EU

Democracy and freedom(how the movie starts) my a$$, its all about money and power. I dont believe for a second that if UK leaves EU British politicians will become all of a sudden patriotic and care about their people more then before.
The country will keep its immigrants, same level will be kept thru visas and work programs, BoJo will be prime minister and nothing new under the sun. Well UK economy might suffer on the long run, but thats the trade of to make.

P.S. On freedom and democracy issue - UK has more cctv then any other european country, here you can get fine for everything, you employer know everything, you bank knows everything, your landlord know everything that is no their business to know yet we talk about freedom and democracy. People can not say openly what they think because that will offend somebody…, I cant go with a cigarette lighter in my pocket even on the parking lot of the out base. Its crazy, even America has more freedoms then Britain :grimacing:

The difference is if we don’t like what the UK government is doing we can vote it out of office. If we don’t like what the EU is doing we can’t.On that note it’s ironic that you’d be supporting the same lot who forced tachographs instead of log books on us.

Let alone this cluster zb.In which ironically if you honestly don’t believe in big brother then you obviously support Romania’s state rights and sovereignty over that of the zb EU.So which is it do you support Romania’s Courts in that argument.Or the EU’s right of sovereignty over Romania’s government, which Romania’s government has obviously caved into ?.The former would obviously put you in agreement with my ideas for a Confederal Europe not a Federal one and therefore the supremacy of state sovereignty over Federal. While the latter would just show yet more hypocritical East Euro bs of supporting whoever pays the most. :unamused:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_Rete … ve#Romania

I dont see any difference, UK government screw people up, you don’t like them and keep electing them :grimacing:
You know what Einstein had said about repeating same thing and expecting different results right :grimacing:

You’ve said you support the EU and EU sovereignty over state sovereignty. So answer the question, bearing in mind your comments concerning Big Brother type despotism,do you support the EU position on exactly that issue v the Romanian courts or do you support the Romanian courts position ?.IE time to put up or shut up. :bulb:

On that note the issue of sovereignty is non negotiable. What we do with it when we’ve got it back is obviously our business.

More evidence of the EU not being a true democracy, when they don’t like the will of the people who have clearly had enough of this socialism bs , there should be a regulation that bans the far left too,

It’s obvious that definitions are being deliberately indiscriminately corrupted to force through Merkel’s agenda bearing in mind that Nationalist doesn’t mean ■■■■ and ■■■■ itself being a version of Socialism.Just like Merkel’s version or Stalin’s version or Tito’s it’s all the same despotic anti democratic bs.Juncker predictably showing himself to be no different to all those Socialist nutters before him.On that note it’s obvious that the French FN vote will be hit by his political commissar thought police. While you’d need to be blind to not see that the EU is a dictatorial Socialist/ Federalist hijacking of the European countries.

Winseer:
WHY is “Remain” STILL odds-on favourite to win this damned referendum?

Polls are all over the place and just do not have any credibility. Regularly sample sizes are quoted as 200-600 which is too small to gauge but yet are included in any “Poll of Polls” figures.

Huge amounts of money bet on the outcome (£15m on Betfair alone where odds are 1.2 [1/5] to remain). Odds have moved from 1/2 on to 1/4 on with some bookies quoting 1/6 on. Expect those figures to come off in the next couple of weeks as the layers take their money out.

Winseer:
Mind you, Farage was odds-on to win a seat - he didn’t.

Kent Police have found there to be “no evidence” of electoral fraud in their investigation into why it took eight hours for the South Thanet ballot boxes to reach their destination in Margate, when it should have taken a maximum of two hours. No surprise there then.

GCHQ has blocked Tory MPs and local associations from using the party’s Vote Source campaign software during the referendum.

This means the 142 Leave MPs and overwhelmingly Brexit-backing associations cannot run selections or export voter mailing and email data.
Surprisingly the Tory Remain campaign doesn’t appear to be affected. :unamused:

I tune into RT news, they were reporting the trouble in france weeks ago( change to employment law) I am sure this is the EU that protects workers , not for much longer they are not.The BBC has just started reporting but they have not mentioned the tear gas and water cannon,I am waiting for reports of troubles in Brussles over the same thing 60000 crowd got water cannon treatment if it were China it would not be off the news ho and while I am at it EU is putting us in court for road user charge on foreign trucks they think it is ok to run on our roads free gratias .330000 last year no chance of our young getting a home of their own IAM OUT

For those who say that the UK has nothing to worry about when Turkey gets visa free movement into the EU take a look at this morning’s Sunday Times. This is in a paper that is backing the remain campaign, the plan is to allow up to 1 million Turks visa free travel to the UK the details of which were to be kept secret until after the referendum.

RT are also predicting another global recession around the corner. They’re forecasting on identical financial patterns for the past 5 financial cycles. Something else that will be blamed on brexit

In which case the real question is ‘why’ order and ‘who’ ordered the secrecy.

Or for that matter an explanation as to the difference in Cameron’s statements on Turkey’s membership for the referendum vote v what he said in 2010.

Ah you mean Conservative Campaign Headquarters, not Government Communications Headquarters! You had me suddenly and desperately searching to find out what this software was and how the security services could possibly get away with this!

I think the issue has moved on a bit now.To what possible motive would any so called ‘Conservative’ have for wanting to get involved with Altiero Spinelli’s project.Even allowing for them being a UK federalist Party it’s a big jump from that to full on member of an EUSSR. :open_mouth:

With the benefit of hindsight. It was a bit naive to be supporting a position which could foreseeably take out what power we’ve got in Europe in the form of UKIP and give more to people like May at home instead. In addition to cutting ourselves loose from allies like AfD,FN,and Austrian Freedom Party among others.Thereby condemning ourselves to an even stronger Federalist cause in Europe. :unamused:
