I’m looking for companies who pay a fuel bonus for the same CM feature I’ve put a poll up for. Best case scenario is if you’d also be prepared to talk to me under your real name, but mainly I need to find companies so I can talk to the gaffers - having both boss AND driver would be a bonus. If you’d rather not post it publically, feel free to PM me the company name.
Nope & neither did my last 1 but last 1 did have own fuel pump so could see who was putting what fuel in each vehicle but we did get paid by the hr there so could easy make some money up

Thanks, with my fingers firmly crossed!
there is a couple of firms out these that has a fuel bonus in place but they are not very honest about it why the interest?
it depends lucy,if you can get through a 15 hr shift without braking harshl oncey, over 75% cruise[think thats figure],and not leave it ticking over for more than 3 mins they will PAY you a fuel bonus,if you have to brake harshly once then NO they dont pay the fuel bonus.

Whats braking harshly in their opinion? Properly slamming them on, or having to brake firmly because you’ve just been cut up?
We sort of have a fuel bonus, we have 2 bonus payments a year and some of that bonus is dependant on what figures we hit during the year. Sick, accidents etc make up the rest of the bonus.
I did a short agency stint at a co’ who paid a fuel bonus & some drivers used to put a few £quids worth of diesel in at their own expense to ensure they qualified.
It might be rubbish, 'cos what most drivers say is rubbish, but it makes sense to me.

this is the problem,no-body really knows, you just get told you havent got it because of a harsh brake.
i cant remember which way round it was but they said[canbus chap] that they tried braking really hard in a scania and they couldnt get it to register harsh brake[really hit the brakes],they tried same in man and it came straight up as harsh braking[may of been other way round],ive been fully locked up,smoke, the lot and got paid bonus, others are loosing 2/3 out of 5,

Seems abit unfair really, showly you should be marked on your overall driving standard but obviously this would be difficult to judge. Your on for stobarts arent?
Walking floor drivers don’t get it, chipliner drivers are guaranteed it.
A harsh brake is 56-0 in less then12 seconds or slowing down by 5 mph per second

Ady1 does that rule apply to the lads on the walking floors and chipliners?
id guess in theory it applies to all group drivers, but like alot of things when you have large companies, certain depots, divisions interpit to suit themselfes.
