This is why I ALWAYS wear a safety harness and DONT pull any stupid stunts that others have been known to try. Besides which, its a good job, I enjoy it, I’m only part time and it pays well. Can’t have fairer than that!
The trucks run on red diesel, non-tachographed, but I could have a shift where I spend 5 hours driving there (Not in one go!!!) 12 hours plus onsite and then the drive back… In that situation I usually get a lot more breaks than normal cos the long shifts are really tiring
