The more of them that die enroute the better as far as I’m concerned.

Please tell me you haven’t reproduced.

I sincerely hope it never happens to one of yours Usher, cos then you might regret them words. IF you can find a dumb female daft enough to let you near her that is !

That’s the problem, like others I don’t know what to do but then again I’m a thick moron who was moved by seeing a picture of a dead child and reposted it on Trucknet, unlike a few on here who just plain couldn’t care less but pretend they do.

Correct me if I am wrong, but have you not previously posted about how you pretended not to hear a distress call about a sinking boat when you were skippering a ship across the Med because it was carrying refugees?

Meanwhile someone has done something, although I don’t think it’s what the majority on here would like.

Give it 50 years and you never know.

Can’t see a UK Sikh terror group being formed, dressing up the UK Buddhists and Christians in boiler suits before sawing their heads off in front of camera. Can’t see a break away UK Hindu group going bananas, mutilating women’s reproductive organs and burning Canterbury cathedral to the ground, destroying ancient national treasures because it insults their ideology. They’ve all lived very peacefully within the UK side by side for donkies years with respect for others. There’s one new child at the party who’s a bit shouty, wants to take over the party, doesn’t like sharing, complains to teacher a lot, is louder than the other kids, a bit of a group bully and is bringing his mates from the street. And a large amount of of them mates are loonies who can’t be controlled by innocent but shouty boy. These fellas want to play pass the parcel by some very odd rules.

Middle Eastern countries aren’t flinging open their doors to help fellow man, yet as per, we slap ourselves around the face with guilt. Only ten minutes away from the boom town rats ■■■■■■■■ telling us it’s all our fault.

Which translates as the Socialist minority and their cheap labour allies amongst the Cons dictating immigration policy as usual.

To kill a weed, you need the root.

The root is the cowardly group of fanatics who call themselves IS.

The answer is to go into Syria and Iraq and wipe them out. We went into Iraq last time because the oil wells were burning.
But we wont go in when evil masked cowards are lopping off heads, and spreading panic.

SHAME ON OUR GOVERNMENT. ASK THE TROOPS,THEY ARE CHOMPING AT THE BIT TO GO IN.

eagerbeaver:
The root is the cowardly group of fanatics who call themselves IS…

IS are funded by Saudi…

Saudi is bestest friends with the United States.

The United states wants regime change in Syria.

the UK are bum chums with the US…

god knows… and he doesn’t even exist!

mad world

and I never disregarded people in distress, they did that themselves when they got on that boat ! no-one forced them to.

Yes, very awkward…

Not awkward in the least, yes I did hear the distress relay call from an Italian radio station, no I did not respond as we were too far away and there were loads of other ships a lot nearer. VHF radio transmissions can and do carry a long way in those areas. Satisfied? will doubt that very much !
I do not think that wee lad and his brother got on that boat of thier own free will either.

A bit like there are plenty of countries nearer than us. Funny how liberal attitudes can swing the way their argument needs it too :open_mouth: :unamused:

Just for balance, there is also this one to stop allowing immigrants into the UK:

Less than 7000 signatures, where are all those ukippers hiding? CF seems to think they have 4 million ready to go, must be total balls as per.

On the face of it, it’s a no brainer… we should let them in. These are innocent people that are suffering whilst trying to escape persecution, if the shoe was on the other foot we would be expecting help from other countries so we should reach out.

However, there is a bigger picture. What do we do with them once they are here? Once these people are across the border we can’t just leave them to fend for themselves, we have to put a roof over their head. We also have to offer them healthcare & handouts so they can survive. Are these people skilled? Do they speak good English? Are we going to end up having to educate them? Our public services are already stretched & we sure don’t need the non-skilled labour markets any more saturated. Are these people going to turn to crime to aid their desperate situations?

Theres a lot of questions to answer & when I think about it the more I sympathise with the government for being so cautious about opening the floodgates. Once we let some in, many more will eventually come. I find it difficult taking this stance as i’d like to see us help them all in an ideal world, but the most ideal scenarios aren’t always the most practical.

Our government should be left to decide how many it thinks we can manage to take, we shouldn’t be bullied by the rest of the EU.

It’s probably the same as the Socialist/cheap labour Con alliance idea of democracy. On that basis they’ve ignored and binned at least 700,000 signatures.

Raymundo, regardless of the exact wording, don’t you think that it’s a bit rich you coming on here and lecturing us all, when, in the position of actually being able to take action, you decided that you’d leave it for someone else to deal with? A bit like what you’ve been accusing the UK in general, and us specifically of doing. You say that the people who are in distress did it to themselves when they got on the boat. So what about if there were children on board that one?

People are bound to take the hump when they’re being preached at by someone who doesn’t walk the walk but wants the rest of us to feel bad about it.
